Breaking: World Juniors to be resumed during summer

I can't see any of these players taking part. I'd honestly be shocked if any of Power, Perfetti, McTavish or Johnson even played.

That's what I'm wondering. What about players who aged out between Christmas and the summer?

I would think starting fresh with new teams would be the most fair approach.
 
finland will have räty sweden will have raymond

germany could get a whole line of really good players

canada and usa aswell

That would be silly. that would make it a tournament for '03 born players. Why would they do that when that U20 tournament is scheduled for Dec. 22 in Russia.

If they are replaying the '22 tournament then all '02 born players should be eligible. and if that means somebody is 20 year old and 5 months.. then that's fine.

You know they play a U18 tournament in April/May where a lot of the players are 18 years + some months.
 
I hope it is a legit best on best tournament meaning Stutzle Drysdale Raymond Sillinger etc all go, however I won’t be surprised if it’s the exact opposite and we lose all the top guys because NHL camps starting soon after

Slaf might be getting ready for NHL training camp... we'll see. Guys like him, Jiricek, Raymond, Wright, Power might all not be available.

I didn't say what I want, I was asking a question that many might have. But that you for a very finger-pointy response.
 
Interesting, I hope that it goes well. I'm not that into the summer tournaments for whatever reason though.
