I don't know why you're taking this stance other than being a Rangers fan. Just because New York reached out to Ottawa to try and dump Trouba on them doesn't mean it's cool for the Rangers press to start going on about Brady being moved. So now their owner is whining about something that obviously occurred?
Why not just do a better job of convincing your player you want him to stay or if you care so much about making it known you aren’t talking to other teams about Tkachuk to not do so?
What a clown comment. The owner of the Senators is literally asking journalists to be silenced because reportedly true information about his team was published.
What's stopping the Ottawa media from stirring things up about Fox, Lafreniere wanting out?
If the Sens start having discussions with teams about Brady, it's because they've gone scorched early, full rebuild 2.0. That could happen in a couple years. As a Sens fan, I think it's within the realm of possibility, with the idea that only Stutzle and Sanderson are safe. However, the club is nowhere close to that right now so there's an element of dishonesty and complete lack of respect for the game by making up false rumors. Combined with the Troube thing, I think this reflects very poorly on Rangers management and the whole league is watching...
