That’s your problem if you can’t click a link not mine lol.
And we know leaving it up to you to judge, is like pissing in the wind.

“Brooks subsequently walked back his earlier report, saying Tkachuk was the prototype forward they sought.”
Maybe you didn’t actually click the link. I did. I wasn’t able to find what was suggested. If it’s so obvious and it’s there, why not just provide the actual quoted language?

I'd buy a Pinto or Norris but I don't know if that'd be tampering now

How about some proof that Trouba was the discussion point? Because there's plenty of proof that Tkachuk was the discussion point.

How about using your f***ing fingers to google it?
Pretty rich from a guy telling people they know nothing while repeatedly showing his ass to everyone.

There is plenty of proof that Trouba was a player of discussion. Here’s one.
“The Senators were reportedly one of the teams in talks with the Rangers about a Trouba trade”

There is literally zero proof that Tkachuk was a discussion point. NONE. ZERO.
There is however plenty of evidence that Larry Brooks made it up:

ESPN’s Kevin Weekes says the Rangers “have had no internal, nor external conversations around Senators’ captain Tkachuk.”
Despite all the rumors and speculation that came out regarding the Rangers and their targeting of Tkachuk, it appears that nothing was true from the very beginning.

Exactly what I thought. A vague reference to reports by a guy with 1,084 Twitter followers. A guy who is not any type of insider. He’s an aggregator and he added his opinion to this story.

If there’s something credible stating that the Senators discussed Trouba with the Rangers, let’s see it. I don’t know what the wait is. I’ve asked a few times and instead you cite this.

Now, to be fair, the Rags front office would be stupid not to deny that through a discussion with the media.

That they didn't say anything to that affect in their formal statement however...

Could you possibly be more disengenuous?
I mean what even is Sports Illustrated?! Right? lmfao

It’s also funny how you missed the other 3/4 of the post related to Tkachuk and the whole thing being bullshit.
and that part in bleacher report where Brooks apparently walked back his comments to say they discussed a prototype power forward like Tkachuk (helps the straight faced denials re. talking to him abt Tkachuk. )

Feel free to find the link yourself in the article I don’t have a subscription to the Post, and I’m not doing anymore googling and explaining everything to you like I would a 3 year old.

Here’s another report about Sens maybe kicking tires on Trouba as well.

So to be clear the Rangers have said they have not talked about Tkachuk, the reporter says they didn’t talk abt Tkachuk, the entire Sens org is so fed up and pissed they reached out to the league abt tampering over it (based on the comments the reporter walked back).
So why don’t you tell me Mr SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE - what is your evidence that the Senators discussed Tkachuk with the Rangers rather than Rangers internal conversations abt whatever?
Youve spent pages saying how obvious it was, how everyone other than you is an idiot, I look forward to your link(s) showing the evidence.

I’m going to bow out here because you and your fellow fans have provided exactly zero proof. The fact that you are trying to claim someone speculating that maybe they might be interested (when this same person admits like two paragraphs later that Canada was a non-starter for the player) shows that you have no proof. If you did, you wouldn’t have jumped through all these hoops to try to claim this.

I don’t need to waste any more time discussing something when I ask straight forward questions and am not given answers to my questions. I’ve asked nicely a few times. At this point, my conclusion is that there’s no intention to provide an answer. Or if there is one, it’s deliberate obfuscation because the answer does not benefit your team.

1. Fox refused to play for Calgary, why would he come to Ottawa?
2. See #1
He wanted to be in NYC, no indication it was an anti-Canadian thing — he also spurned Carolina

sorry, no, you're just saying this. The rumours out of Ottawa are real - his brother matt even liked it. remember matt? he leveraged his way off of a canadian team too.
What’s the source for this?

**or compliments
What SHOULD be a discussion is my post 2025 from Rs trade thread

In it, basically [with added pieces] it is a core of
Sanderson + better useful pieces + to Rs
Brady T + Panarin to Devs
and
LaF + Fox + Nemec to Sens

btw cap is almost exact match!

I'd like the critics to explain themselves...
How on earth are the devils going to make the cap work in this scenario? That's $20M in salary.

At least it was actually him that chose not to report to Calgary and not his brother.

That makes it a little more compelling.
I have no idea what this means, but if you’re insinuating Adam Fox “chose not to report” to Calgary you’re 100% wrong.

He chose not to leave Harvard early to sign with them, which is a significant distinction… a player has no duty to report to a team they haven’t signed a contract with.

He had the choice to sign with the team that drafted him and he didn't.

I'm not sure of any other interpretation that exists.

Meanwhile, all of the Brady Tkachuk talk is because of what his brother chose to do, not because there's any indication of any kind that Ottawa is interested in trading him, or that Brady wants to leave.

That's the amusing irony here.

Yeah but that’s not what you said, you said he “chose not to report” which is completely different, and is in fact a material breach of contract.

Seems Brooksie jumped the gun here folks.................nothing to see here.

The media in certain hockey cities love to jump the gun, of course TO, Montreal, NY etc
Some of these journalists, love to hear their own voices most times.....

The one thing that's weird is the Sens owner seems to have some issues, so...................
