The situation with Brady is more when you lose, you can do no right, when you win, you can do no wrong.
I didn't like him roasting the fans for adversity. I thought it was incredibly ungrateful and tone deaf given how supportive fans have been despite having to deal with everything that came with Melnyk running the team over the last decade or so. Especially since Bryan Murray passed.
With that said, one bad comment doesn't define someone. This is an incredibly disappointing season, so people are looking for places to put blame. If Brady wasn't up to his "embarrassing antics", and instead was calm and collected, people would say he checked out and it's a country club atmosphere.
We are probably a year away from Brady getting the Mark Stone treatment of going somewhere else and redefining his career to the point where if 20 years from now you ask someone to close their eyes and visualize Mark Stone, they aren't visualizing him in a Sens jersey.
They need to figure this out and fix it. It's not just one player.
