I was a huge Brady fan, but I get why people are turning on him. You can only fool people for so long. I think people who call him a great leader got way too wrapped up in his public image. For me, I was no longer a Brady fan when I heard that he apparently has an entire extra stall to himself in the locker room for his hair products.

I get the feeling someone might have been pulling your leg, I mean, the guy doesn't really have a high maintenance hairdo...

Edit: maybe they were mixing up Brady and Matthew, apparently Matthew is a bit hair obsessed

I thought Toronto and Montreal fans were cry babies but holy shit this fan base makes them seem almost grown up.

The amount of entitlement coming from certain posters is off the charts.

Anyone else notice that the Toronto media goes on and on about Ottawa fans booing but skip right over Toronto fans doing it not just once but a couple of games now.

Not one mention the other night in Toronto about their fans but they had a segment about Ottawa's fans.

If you get sucked in by the Toronto media machine and start comparing Ottawa to them you will always be disappointed as they will never promote Ottawa over Toronto.

you realize it's because our players made a big deal about the booing right?

Their players felt it was deserved, our players don't feel it's deserved. That's the only reason this is a story.

Booing happens when a team is playing bad, just like cheering happens when a team is playing well.

The only people coming off as entitled in this situation are the senators players.

I'd like to see some proof of that. Calling BS until proven

What is it a hair trimmer in a stall?

You could set your watch to Brady’s hair. It doesn’t take much effort.

Typically these haven't lasted very long, but Brady is in a definite funk the last couple of games. He didn't do much against the Leafs, and last night he was flat out bad - not physical, wasn't moving his feet, and failed to tap a puck in that would have given us a crucial lead. If you want to win your best players have to be your best players, and last night Parker Kelly was a more effective player than Brady was. He needs to snap out of it Saturday night.

This is a paid professionals sports league. Who pays? Well television and radio sponsors do, social media, corporations, pay-per-view television rights, and last but not least the paying fan base.

There wouldn't be a league without the fans let's face it. If I purchase a new car and there are continuous problems with the vehicle then the dealership from where I bought the car from is going to hear about and it may not be very pleasant if the attitude and service level of the dealer is not sufficient.

While the NHL is not like buying a new car, it is similar on where you expect results. The occasional screw up is tolerated but no one is going to drive a car that continuously is non-productive right?

Button line, fans do have the right to voice their displeasure as long as it is not based on racial or projected bigotry.

Brady needs to learn how to keep his mouth shut to media and deal with frustrations in the locker room.

I do not know what impact Brady having the C has on the team and if him not having it would change anything.

but a lot of the worst parts of this team are some of the worst parts of Brady's game.

cheating for offense, lack of defensive effort, cherry picking, too much talking, emotional and immature, lack of poise and too many turnovers.

some of these describe the team and Brady way too similarly.

if Giroux or Chychrun were the captain does anything change? does the team play different? is the team more focused and calm? honestly idk. seems like such a minor thing since Giroux and Chych are still leaders in the room.

but i think the fans and players take it being "Bradys team" way too seriously. and i think it puts undue pressure on Brady as well, that he as a young player is not able to handle yet.

He’s 24 and has been in the league for 5 years. This is the middle to end of his prime. He’s not young by NHL standards anymore.

I'd take less scoring from Brady if it meant more physical engagement, being harder on the puck and making better decisions in the offensive zone. I like him when he's a battering ram out there, putting the fear of God into defensemen as they go to retrieve pucks. I don't wanna say he's soft because that's crazy but it sure would be nice to see some physicality from him. He can influence entire games with that edge.

Really demanding on the body , if not impossible to play that way every game. He needs some of his team mates to chime in.

It's a satirical reference to a bogus Karlsson rumor from when people turned on him.

Too much of a deep cut I suppose.

The flobee deluxe system just requires a bit of room to operate. Those tips don’t frost themselves yknow.

I think Brady is having to carry the water offensively for both Norris and Batherson at the moment which is leading him to be trying to ‘do to much’.

When he’s at his best he’s able to play his game and leave his linemates to play theirs (Stu and G), but right now Bath and Norris are doing little in their own.

I would put Tank there with him, and would have maybe even tried Greg before injury and let Norris ease his way back into NHL hockey. Not sure what Batherson’s issue is, but he’s not helping much with his constant turn overs and fancy passing plays to no one.

I feel for Brady but at least we have one line going at all times. Time to move Tank up with Brady to have at least two guys in good form playing. Tank has been way more physical than Bath as well so it could be a nice physical and skilled set up.

I really want to see Brady with Tank.

Honestly when Grieg comes back I'd love a Brady-Grieg-Tank line

That could be our most disruptive and skilled combination line.

I’d love to see it. Imagine how much bigger Grieg would play centring Brady, and what that would look like.

You still have the power forward, the creative centreman, and the deadly shooter combination, just with all three being more tenacious on the forecheck, and right now Grieg and Tank are far more physical than the guys they are replacing.

....dman. You can really see Walt in his face there.

Yep. One thing we desperately need is a big team buy-in with the physical and punishing play. We have a lot of big boys on the roster. They need to use that size more consistently.

That might be asking a lot from Greig. I love the kid, but I'm not sure if he is 2C level in the creativity department.

But it would definitely be a chaos line. Other teams would hate playing against it once they're going.

If fans booing will Brady uncomfortable and maybe even run him out of town then I would suggest everyone in the Arena should continue doing it! Unless they actually start playing good, not few wins here or there, but actually start to play good! And it starts with Brady as the Captain. Just be good and WIN or pack your bags and head to Florida.

F*** nonsense

Only 2 significant wins in past 164 games + this season so far

Sitting at the bottom of the league once again

Giroux should've just stayed with the Panthers and played with the real Tkachuk
