Can you imagine Brady in a couple of years when he hits full maturity physically and then becomes a gym rat?

If he does some figure skating for edges and speed, weight training for more upper body strength, core training for back and stomach he could become the most feared beast in the NHL!

He really needs to stop leaking out of the defensive zone so often. Gets exposed so many times.
That certainly looks like a planned play. DJ's coaching at his best.

Still learning to be a captain. His lack of everything the pst 4 games has not been good
His hits in the Vancouver games lead directly to one goal and a great chance on another. He ain't the problem.

Playing with resignation since the Chicago game. He simply has not recovered mentally, and it shows. I think he will learn from this . It took years before Alfredsson could cope with the pressures of being an NHL captain, and let's not forget that every playoff failure before 07 had Alfie at the top of the list.

It is going to take a while, and he will be worth it

They do work on all of that, they even have a figure skating coach, you can see her at the Development Camps. No question though, as Tkachuk matures he will be one of the best power forwards in the league he is almost there now.

I'd also like him to strive towards being one of the best 200 foot players in the league

Are other team doing these little between the leg pass as much as the Sens? I'm sp focus on the Sens that I don't know.

I feel this team doesn't work a lot
That play happens every game now. It used to be the biggest no-no you could make but now teams try to break out through the middle a lot. He was trying to get it to Sanderson, just didn't work.

Finally this season is going to sting for the guys. Next season they know what the consequences are for not starting the season fired up.

Also, we need some consistency of players. We don’t need a massive roster shuffle.

It falls on the coaching staff. They got us in a massive hole in November and December.

I imagine that a number of the UFAs might not get re-signed like Brown, Holden, Watson, Brassard & Talbot. The only UFA that I think does get another contract is Hamonic at a cheaper price.

Holden could get replaced by Kleven or JBD on the roster but it's more likely they start next yr with Brannstrom & Hamonic on the 3rd pairing. Not sure what they will do in goal if they decide to move on from Talbot, maybe Sogaard becomes the backup to Forsberg, but I'm not sure about those two. Brown should walk & not sure who replaces Watson's role & Brassard has been really good for them although he is 35 yrs old. Should be interesting who the new faces will be next season.

I don’t buy that at all, but I’m not against coaching changes.

I think we had huge change over again, injuries to key players, and a core that lacks any significant NHL playing experience.

Coaches can make you hungry, or consistent, but they can teach systems and such.

I expect the core to be way more hungry to start the season next year now they understand how close they have come to playoff hockey.

I agree. Hammy can come back as a third pairing guy if he wants, he’s 32 and is a warrior for the team. We know there will be injuries.

Goaltending is a bit of a question, I agree.

It will be interesting to see how the off season is managed.

I won't be surprised to see Brassard back
