I think he was a good player, not a very good player. He was a 2nd line centre playing top line because they lacked talent down the middle.

lol dealing with meaning and definitions. I think most if not all 2nd line C's are very good players. He was more of a high end 2nd line C.

Haha, fair enough. I lived here and was caught up in the fever of the times with that club. Morrison was a good top six guy, and we probably agree in terms of definition; you need to be a very good player to be a top six player.

Seemed like a real nice guy too. It was something else to be here during their cup run, the entire city was bursting with excitement. Bet it was like that in Ottawa during the last run, and Hamburgaler….

I was living out there in Glen Eagles when he was there as well. Canucks were good. Their series vs the Hawks were really good. I thought they were going to win it vs Boston.

It was great to see that graphic that had Tkachuk reach 250 pts before all of the great skilled goal scorers from past teams. Apparently Tkachuk can score goals & he's a much better passer than people give him credit for. This team is showing us glimpses of how good they can be, they just need to reduce their mistakes, get decent goaltending all yr & reduce their goals against.

I'm honestly surprised Tim hasn't passed him in points yet but they do end up contributing to the same goals.

There are haters? Seriously, are there still people criticizing the guy or the pick?
He’s amazing and we’re damn lucky to have him here.

Sadly yes there are haters on this board even.

At this point I have to wonder if there is a serious underlying health issue with these people because it’s beyond just trolling at this point.

25 goals and 62 points prior to the conclusion of this game in 59 games

Leads the team in points and so many other categories.

The haters are awfully quiet lately
he is reaching that level of "good" where he gets hated on simply because of it ...its that "eugh I fing hate that guy" often muttered by fans when that player destroys their team, but deep down they would sacrifice a limb to have that player on their team

So after the successful back2back for the Sens over the Redwings, Larkin gets new contract for 500k more than Brady.

Brady's deal looks great, and Timmy and Norris deals keep getting better.

Just hope that, especially after the past two games, Debrincat understands why he can't make more than Brady. Of course he will get more on the open market, but I am hoping this stretch could really sell him on what a good situation this can be.

Always plays hard. But the last two games…he played mean.

I like mean. In fact, he played like a bully. Love it
We need a few more players to follow his lead and play a very physical game but within the rules without taking penalties. The big boys will have to play tougher and bigger: Hamonic, Holden, Watson, Pinto, Batherson, Kastelic, and Gauthier.

Need to add somebody to help him. Deslaurier type guy. MacDermid. Find another Carkner would be great. Mayfield maybe. Him and Branny would be a solid 3rd pair.

Maybe, but he's a few years away I imagine.

Also no clue if Kleven is the type to fight, so if that's what you're looking for in another Carkner, he might not be the man.
Kleven is a big man dubbed the K-Train for a reason. He doesn’t need to be an enforcer, he needs to hit to hurt, and he does. He’s also a big boy who will be able to back it up.

I also don’t think Kleven is a few years away at all, but we’ll get a better idea at the end of the season. He came on strong development wise this year and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him make the team sooner than later.

Ostapchuk also Knocked out that 6’9” dude and can obviously chuck ‘em. We’ll be fine once we have a few of these guys graduate who can also play the game In my opinion, not to mention Boucher as well.

I have no interest in plugs in the team who are here just to skate around and look mean. Reaves and Lucic type guys have expired.

We‘re pretty lucky to have three big guys on the team right now who will willingly fight, when compared to other teams.
