Ya there are some dummies on here , that don’t like Brady.
It's not that black and white. There are 3 types of fans here re: Brady:
1. Those that want to keep him at all costs & think trading him is insane.
2. Those that think this team needs a shake-up and Brady is the most valuable piece to trade.
3 . Those that think his D game hurts the team, he's an immature captain and won't mind if he goes especially because his value seems to be very high in the league.

Just because someone falls in category 2 or 3 doesn't make them a troll, a non-fan or a dummy. Just some of us aren't as enamored with him the same way as many want Norris traded regardless of his play in case he injures his shoulder again.

I respect others' opinions even if I don't share them. Calling people dummies because they don't agree with you means a lot of members here want an echo chamber. Where's the fun in that?

I am in (4). (a) I think he has a lot more to give in his D play and 200 ft game. (b) I think contributes a lot offensively . I want to see him give more of a shit about (a). No interest in trading him at this point .. but everyone can be traded for the right price

Thx for pointing that out, you're absolutely right.

Way above 50/50.

We’ve had two very bad games. And then a few others where we were no worse or better than the other team but lost.

Basically a winger? He hasn’t played with anyone capable of playing serious center minutes all season lol. He is the undisputed center on every line he’s played on

I agree just he doesn’t take face offs and he skates the middle of the ice, so IMO you could get a scoring C for the team moving Timmy to the wing wouldn’t be big deal

Brady with solid backchecks today and when Nashville tried to make it a physical game late in the 2nd he comes in the 3rd and lays out Carrier. After that Nashville was silent on the physical side

love to see it

When you see him play like today it so obvious he is more valuable to this team when he backchecks vs when he doesn't but puts up more points.

Like difference between the team making the playoffs or not.

he does things that others on the team can't/won't

Perfect example today with his physical play and again driving the net hard to try to get rebounds

I hope Brady stays with the Sens for a long time. Get this team into the playoffs and watch him prosper.

Say what you will about his leadership, he is the heartbeat of the team. Didn't have any points tonight but he had 5 shots, 1 blocked shot, 3 hits. He also refrained from losing his cool and fighting Luke Schenn. Progress.

Some people are way off on how much of an impact a C has on the W/L total.

Look at the Oilers. Should they trade McDavid and Drai because they haven't won a Cup? Wasn't it interesting that until they had some good defensive play and consistent goaltending they couldn't even make the Finals? These are all-time players.

Leaving a gaping hole for magic beans is not how you build a winner. You compliment top end players with better talent, and that is where the Senators are now. They need better secondary players.

The bolded is what impressed me the most.

Please focus on the tangible aspects of the game that can help us win games. No point in getting into a fight with a veteran on one of the worst teams in the league, and then have yourself removed from the game. Be available to help the team get 2 points against a struggling team and it was awesome to see that.

Looking forward to seeing more of this Tkachuk!

I'm happy he's calling this out. It was obvious the moment the Brooks article went live that Drury was behind it and that it was a clear attempt at tampering.

This kind of tampering - call it soft, call it indirect or just call it what it is - is the norm now in the NBA. If the NHL doesn't want the same thing happening in their league, they need to clamp down on it now.

Good on Andlauer for showing frustration..."Brady is the captain long-term" as per Lebrun
Interesting with the soft tampering allegation. Seems a bit valid

Same franchise that was gifted a 1st overall and a number 1 defender, who forced his way there

What about tagging and asking Brooks. He may say no comment but we see a Rangers to be expected response with nothing from Brooks
