Brad Treliving is doing a great job.

He's certainly doing a great job at trending towards more screwups in his first offseason than our previous GM had in half a decade.

He’s not Dubas bad, but he’s well on his way.

The Klingberg contract looks even worse now because Dubas left little depth at the position and 4 million is a lot of cap for him.

At least most of the signings are 1 year, somehow he was dumb enough to give Reaves a 3 year contract though.

Minny offered 2x1.5m so Tre had to beat it. To me it shows how desperate he was to add snot. Unless they give him some rope to do what he does best, I'd trade him to Minny.

I'd really need to know if Treliving wants grit and Keefe isn't letting the guys be gritty/violent or if they've signed the dotted line and just aren't bringing it physically?

Obviously if Keefe is holding them back, he goes.

If the players themselves aren't bringing it, you move/waive them.

I was extremely critical of Dubas at the end of his tenure and wasn't buying the outrage towards Shanahan once Dubas left, but as this goes further along and now we're seeing the same things with the exact same core, Shanahan is definitely the one who deserves all the blame.

He's the Boss and the results just aren't anywhere near good enough when you consider the talent he's had and the amount of time he's been in charge.

The season is still early but the start to this season has been very poor.

I think it is far too early for Treliving to make this kind of change. Teams generally don't fire coaches 10 games into a season when their record is decent.

They haven't looked nearly as good as the cord would indicate.

Obviously team's that have "looked good" but have crap records would gladly change places with us but it does feel like we're lucky to have the record we currently hold.

He brought in 3 guys to ”change the complexion of this team”, make us harder to play against. Did Reeves, Bertuzzi or Domi do anything last night when one of our homegrown got done dirty? All three should be in the press box the next game and Treliving should be calling out his team for not having a backbone.

if players aren‘t gonna stand up for their teammates we don’t want them here. Period. JT should be stripped of his Captaincy as this continues to be an issue under his leadership!

It's not a bad contract though is it? He's a one year filler. I don't think Brad wanted to continue the trend of blowing through futures. What is bad about the contract?
