Lol good try. You wrote an inaccurate response which I clearly showed you and corrected. My stance has been the same all along.
Not since I explained cap friendly to you.
Now you are talking about the signing bounus 2M ( paid in July) and the 2M ( salary (still owed) + whatever he makes as a scout as your stance. When actually your stance was that he is "He is getting his full salary at $5M + to be a scout". It was me who brought up the signing bounus of 2M I even mentioned that it had been paid in July and the 2M in salary which does equal 4M not over 5M. We both did mention that he will be getting an additional salary for scouting ( at least we believe he will).

You explained nothing. You inaccurately said he's getting paid $2M plus whatever hes getting as a scout. That's wrong and you still can't admit that. I've exhaustive my responses to you and pointed out the bonus is included for the year just like the Tavares situation (you count it all together, not just whats getting paid throughout the year). So it's $4M plus whatever as a scout (my guess was more than a $1M) - but I grouped it all and said $5M+. This isn't hard to understand lol.

It was explained to you already. Just go back and read it.

It's a bit soon but to say, I think his body of work in Calgary earns him the benefit of the doubt so that's what I'm giving him.

So far I do like:

- Signing Bertuzzi - Honestly Bertuzzi hasn't really looked good in any of the pre-season games. He was alright vs Montreal though.

I don't like

- Signing Domi, I've always been a big Max Domi skeptic. - Domi looks bad.
- Signing Klingberg. Thought he was Tyson Barrie but less mobile. - Klingberg has looked really good so far, happy to be proven wrong on him.
- Signing Kampf - TBD. Kampf had really good chemistry with Kase and Engvall when they were here, He needs someone like that again to really work out for us IMO.
- Signing Reaves - TBD

The entire team looked bad Wednesday, I expect a bounce back from Domi and everybody else.

They held Montreal to 20 shots. It was mainly Samsonov that looked bad.

I would say than the prolem is peole wqs looking on goal, scoring and making his own decision about..

I watch the game a day later, no sound and without giving too much value to goal... and outside goal, habs pratically didn't had any good scoring.

In the first 45 they had like 3 high scoring chance 2 high danger shot and had scored 3 goal...

Newhook 1st goal, you watch it 1st and its wow amaizing play and samsonov had no chance... when you take care of replay, you saw samsonov was already beaten on 1st pass to slafkovsky and because of it had no chance to make save on newhook... if we would just be sharp, he would only had to use his own stick on passing lane or just realize than the only option to slaf was to pass it and he would had time to move to his right and this goal just never happen but he was already out of position...klinberg play hat play perfectly

Evans yes it was a breakaway but it was easy to read than evans will come back on his forehand, it was his only option.

Samsonov didn't allowed weak goal but didn't help his D at all, he made maybe 1 to 2 good save all game long

Obviously it’s a small sample size, things can change, but right at this point, the adds this guy has made have been a resounding success. The “snot” factor has changed the entire vibe of the team, and pretty much every replacement looks better than what we iced last year.

what about some defense and goalies

Well, he didn't give in and give Sammy a long term deal. He grinded him right down as low as he could go. So safe to say, he's not enamored with the position (yet).

We have a few young guys coming ... Woll, Hildeby and Arkhyatamov looks ridiculous in the KHL this season.

It's clearly still TBD but safe to say, Treliving is still evaluating things in this front (along with the D clearly). You can't fix everything over night.

What adding a little bit of grit can do for the team… It’s nice to see Treliving also add that snot from players who are middle six players opposed to Dubas who would be adding 4th liners or fringe NHLers.

Will at least need 1 more competent defender before the playoffs if we want a chance.

The D pieces Dubas put in place are so old, slow and immobile...

We will need a save.

I'm sure Treliving will add a piece to the defense but we need a f***ing save.

Samsonov owes them 2 games now.

We’re basically where we were at when Schenn officially signed with Nashville, needing a defenceman that can play with Rielly. I still think Murphy could be someone Treliving has his eye on. Timmins and Robertson as trade chips.

Rielly - Murphy
Brodie - Klingberg
McCabe - Liljegren

Not sure how it would work cap wise or if it’s even possible but assuming Jarnkrok (2.1), Timmins (1.1) and then waiving Giordano (0.8) maybe it can somehow work?
