I have no horse in this race, but it wouldn't shock me to see him get a cup of tea like Perfetti. I think he'll play in the AHL and put up 40-50 points and maybe earn a few NHL games at the end of the year.
How much offensive talent does he have to play with on the Moose though?

Chaz Lucius will more than likely join him down there, the Jets could develop them as a duo on the Moose for a few years. The Moose still have a stacked D core w/o either Heinola or Samberg, and they move the puck very well in all 3 zones. Forwards are a sore spot, we'll have to see results and cuts of training camp.

Lambert has recently doing well and it is nice to see. He has always seem to have a lot of offensive talent so focusing to that is a good idea. To be fair, in Europe there is more defensive play and since he has played here in recent years, of course he is judged by the games he has played over here. The faster and more offensive style of play seem to suit him more. Like I've said before, I hope he succeeds.

I mostly agree with this, except whilst the W is a developmental league simply by age of players within it, the teams are businesses and wins and championships are important to drive gate and merch.

The more I think about it, especially with how stacked the TBirds look to be this year, I'd rather have Lambert playing in the AHL. He's already been playing with men, and on the Moose you know that development will be their only goal with him, and he can get integrated into the Jets systems and culture quicker.
I watched a whl game last night lambert would have flew around those guys like they were standing still. Either Jets or Moose please.

He played against junior players a month and a half ago and got scratched. Lots of guys better than Lambert will be in the CHL this year. He’s not too good for that level, but if the Jets feel like he’d benefit more from the Moose I’ll be happy for him.

I doubt that any team that has a choice between sending a player to the chl or ahl will send a player to chl.

Is there a 9 game trial in the a hour Before a player can get sent to the WHL?

The AHL is a rougher league than the NHL So I could see some players choosing to go to the WHL or college for a year or two to gain mass.
