I feel like this series will be won by the Bruins in 4 or 5 games, but the games will be very close.
Your very narrow idea of adversity*
Also, why must a team face the adversity you consider adversity? What if they never have to? Or what if they face it the first time in the playoffs and surpass it?
It's not like this Bruins team is some up & coming team full of inexperienced players. 3 of them have played in 3 Stanley Cups.
Yeah not my fault if people who dont understand than facing difficulties and adversity are not synonyms, doesn't mean the same thingt
So both a synonym and part of the actual definition.Ummm, that's literally the definition of adversity chief.
"a state or instance of serious or continued difficulty or misfortune"

why? Just because?Bruins in 5. Panthers will manage to steal one.
It's less about the Panthers and more just about how consistent and dominant the Bruins have been from start to finishToo many people are underestimating the Panthers. As a B's fan I think this will be a fairly tough series.
Too many people are overestimating the Panthers and underestimating the Bruins.Too many people are underestimating the Panthers. As a B's fan I think this will be a fairly tough series.
14% of people here have voted for the Panthers to win the series. Betting markets have the implied odds at around 30% for the Panthers winning the series.Too many people are overestimating the Panthers and underestimating the Bruins.
While “anything is possible, blah, blah, blah” it is more likely the Bruins make this series a snore fest by grinding the Panthers into dust than for the Panthers to actually win it.
If that isn't a sign for the OP to log off for the day I'm not sure what isUmmm, that's literally the definition of adversity chief.

I don't like to bet/vote on these things.
I just hope both teams have fun and play hard, or something.
14% is too high, but that’s imo.14% of people here have voted for the Panthers to win the series. Betting markets have the implied odds at around 30% for the Panthers winning the series.
I promise no one is underestimating the team with the all time NHL wins record here. 65% of people here have voted for them to win in 4 or 5
Adversity is just a word used by those who don't want to have to give credit to the Bruin's record setting season. If they had multiple injuries, won a bunch of OT/Shootout games, and limped into the playoffs with a 100 point season, the mantra wouldn't be "look at all the adversity they faced", it would be "Boston's not that good, look at their record." The agenda is so transparent, it's a wonder anybody claims this nonsense.
If goaltending for the Cats shows up, they might steal one...or more.why? Just because?
The Bruins wont be taking their foot off the pedal in any game....I see no way that Florida gets one ("stealing" a game somehow from a team that won more regular season games in history).
I misread that at first and thought you said 50+ Points. Thought “Holy shit, this is gonna be a high scoring series!”Tkachuk hits 50+ PIMS this series alone.
