Florida was arguably a better 5v5 team than Boston (and everyone else, but NJ and CAR):

1- starting without mcavoy marchand, yes i said it earlier it was the only adverdity

Being predicted as wild card? No its not

Having a mediocre pp, its not adversity... its just difficulty

Its not what i said... adversity is not looking bad 1 game in regular season...its not only on playoff too( it was an exemple of it because everything are condensed)

You can remember but you can't recreate emotionnal thing, feeling or whatever...

And im not telling boston will lost because of it...but its something that can affect this serie...
Stop with this silly narrative, every team faces adversity and the Bruins are no different.

Monty says he doesn't know the Bruins lineup for tonight because so many have this bug going through the room.

Gryz out
Forbort in

That's what we do know.

If I was to place a wager I'd wager no Bergeron tonight.

Point wise maybe but probably not talent wise. We have seen some fairly big upsets point wise over the years but some of those there is more to the story. I still think DET losing to SJ in 94 is the biggest R1 upset the last 30 years even though many cases exist of bigger point spread upsets. FLA has an experienced coach, was basically the top seed just last year, and has tons of offensive talent and BOS while good probably is realistically not a 60 plus win team...we can all agree the 95-96 Wings and the recent Bolts teams were probably on paper way way WAY better than this BOS team is...they just had one of those years.
Let me get this straight, Boston just finished the season with 65 wins yet in your mind they’re just good and not a 60 win team? That’s about as ridiculous a take as someone saying they never faced any adversity during the reg season.

Florida came out hot. Bruins weathered the storm. Ullmark was fantastic. Florida looked gassed in the third and the Bruins locked it down.

No Bergeron so that might have helped with their adversity/60 metrics :sarcasm:
