Elias Lindholm was horrible offensively in the regular season for the Canucks and then turned it on in the playoffs. I wouldn't worry so much as he's just streaky when it comes to offense, and it's a new system (and now new coach) that he has to get used to.

He started off with points in 3 straight, pointless for 7, then points in 4 of 5, pointless for 5 games, then 1 goal and 3 assists in 4 games. Bergeron set a bad standard for him to live up to but this is sort of the nature of high end defensive centres. When you're defensively responsible, you're not always producing points.

Isn't Elias their #1C? That's poor production, even Zacha put up better numbers last year. He's sure taken a dip since scoring 40 goals and putting up 82 pts that year with the Flames.

He was kind of snake bitten for a bit but the entire team has been- Pastrnak included. Not too worried about him, he’s clearly one of the better forwards on the team.

It's by design, most of them aren't going to be there by the time it expires so they just hope to get 5 good years and stay competitive to justify the next job.

Not sure why no one is not talking about this more. Last year was his worst year offensively in 6 years. I see posts he is a buyout canidate in 5/6 years he is almost a buy out canidate now. Not to mention him slotting in on the 1st line has effected all the other center's production. Never liked this signing the second it happened.
