With Covid and these Injuries I’m just not interest in this season.. and I won’t be interested until Quinn is fired. I honestly just don’t think he’s a good coach.
My only real beef with Quinn is that I think he got HC job too quickly.

I understand why the FO like him so much: he had alot of success coaching at the NCAA. So, in theory, he would be a good developmental coach.

I think, in many ways, he is trying to grow into an NHL coach.

I'm pretty sure he isn't going anywhere until JD & co believe the Rangers should be competing.

Clearly, they do not believe so...

Unfortunately it's becoming clear that MZ is on the downside of his career. The past two seasons may represent his pinnacle. Tough business managing a young man's game. Something is always bound to go bad. This is surprisingly unfortunate.

I think thats a tad premature. I think it's pretty obvious Covid messed him up. Its too drastic of a drop off otherwise..

Even though I would say this season will probably be in the dumps for him: Zib could easily bounce back next sesson.

We are soft as hell. If you take ONE bad penalty your career can be over. Is it strange that we play with as little emotions as we do?

It was very much like watching 2 entirely different clubs in the past 2 games. One full of piss and vinegar. The the just laid down like a lazy dog.

Mika is playing like a borderline NHLer right now. If it was Covid, then it would be stamina, which doesn't seem to be the case since he's playing his regular shift and special teams. I figured he would have worked his way through this slump by now, but not if today is any indication. This dude has literally fallen off of a cliff. Unless he turns it around, there is no way I pay him like a #1C.

Pretty amusing that Shesty makes only one save but gets stuck with the L.

I know that's how the rules are, but it's still funny.

FWIW Boston came with a whole different mindset this time around. They'd been embarrassed two games in a row and some credit has to be given to them for tightening up their D and playing a much more physical, aggressive game.

I think Alex played well. That's about where it stops though. The Rangers didn't get to the net and our best players were ineffective. Even Lindgren got hit a lot more than he hit. We were on the wrong foot the entire game.

.....and I think Mika is still dealing with the covid. A player doesn't just drop off that drastically. He's just too sluggish.
