Somebody still understands the game.

Lemieux really just does not have it as a player. He cant stay on his feet. He cant handle the puck. He is straight up a disappointment. And somehow he continues to get PP2 time.

Fire Quinn
. In fairness we are missing a ton of players but I get it

Jac Collingsworth....

Chris calling in a marker for his son because Mom is tired of making the meatloaf.

What game were some of you watching lmao
Pretty much everyone else was fumbling the puck every time they got it in the neutral zone, Lemieux was the only guy who was actually gaining the zone every shift. To me he was easily our best player today

Strome is the only Center doing anything in our lineup. Let that sink in...

Yeah, but was it really necessary to turn the PP completely upside down with zero PS games just so that DQ could get his will through and have a more shoot first oriented PP?

With that went the top guys confidence, we get a lot more pts off the bat if we have a PP, confidence from the team.

All Albert talked about all day was who the Bruins were missing; like we have a full lineup. Zib sucks and Brett Howden has zero value; none.
I understand that. In fact I said that too. I also said it doesn’t help when your top Center completely falls off a cliff and becomes a liability which Mika has become. Missing Panarin, Kakko, and Chytil kills the depth. Trouba and To y D were also expected to be key players on D

F-Quinn. I don't care what he does here the rest of his career. Once the game went 4 -1 we needed to get a pound of flesh. Mckegg swings his stick; no PP. Bergeron cross checks with impunity. He needed to put whatever head hunters we have (Lemieux for one) and start some trouble. But he didn't. We lost passively; like wimps. F-you Quinn. Dead to me. You will never have the balls to coach at this level.

Up 6-1 vs Boston and Bruins do this shit everyone calls them a bunch of thugs.

We dont have those gritty players. Lemiuex is not a fighter. He's a scrapper, but hes not intimidating anyone.

Our best guy physically tonight was PDG. We don't have enough Jam.

With Seattle looking to hire and quite a few possible coaching changes, VAN, NSH, MTL, and whoever else is under performing, we should really use the big ny bucks to get a new coach in here and have the selection first. We were chasing last time and fell short because we were a rebuilding team no one wanted to coach but now it's different. I hope we don't sit around until July to make that decision when the coaches are all gone.

People can scream all they want about Quinn being fired, but they won't even entertain that until the off season.

This game was so aimless that its hard for me to dump this completely on the coach.

I think the team could use a couple older vets that aren't Jack Johnson..

If you look at who is missing its basically a top six line even if Chytil generally doesnt play there. We have too many guys that will not score or arent scoring threats. It also depletes both pp's, we need our guys back.

Reactions: Chytilmania
It's one thing if Zibby was just snakebitten. Like if he was impacting the game positively but not scoring. But he's not doing any of it. He's playing because we literally have no other options. Maybe when Chytil comes back we can sit Zibby for a a few. but it's doubtful.

And Strome is just a soft damn player. He's got skill. Decent skater. Has decent vision. But only uses his stick to forecheck. Just not going to be very effective that often against the Bruins or most playoff teams.

The only bright spots were Laffy and Blackwell.

My biggest issue with this team is that our less skilled players make dumb plays all over the ice. Lemieux doesn't get it deep. B Smith starts a nice neutral zone rush but then sends a stupid cross ice pass to no one that ends up going right back in our own end for a chance.

Truth is, you only need to make 1 or 2 of these dumb plays a game to lose to a good team. But when it's happening every 3 minutes, you simply cannot compete.

If you start the season with the Kreider-Ziba-Buch-Pan-Fox PP they definitely score at a good rate instead of turning everything up side down with a RHS Strome on the right side — Ziba doesn’t lose his confidence.

Should DQ get a pass from this? I NY sure. There is no accountability for management.

On the plus side, no way the Rangers sign Zib to a long term deal this off season..

. Where did I give DQ a pass?

We are soft as hell. If you take ONE bad penalty your career can be over. Is it strange that we play with as little emotions as we do?

Ya, clearly there's very little tolerance for that kind of stuff here. Lemieux is a mouse here, Tony got sent to Jupiter, no one on the team has any fire. Somehow we ended last year saying we need to be more difficult to play against but so far all i'm seeing is laying down and dying.

Mika isn't close. He isn't getting close. He's getting worse. And its time for management to have a sit down with those who make real decisions. I don't claim to have an answer or even have a thought on whether to scratch him at this point. Trading him makes little sense. New linemates does.

But for the first time, I'm strongly considering scratching probably the last Ranger I thought would ever get clipped like that.

20 games in and he has what, 6 pts?
With first line minutes at 5 on 5 and PP?

Hes killing this team.

All this is just part of today's suck. The whole team did a slide by.

Wanna beat the Rangers? Just jam the net and whack away.

High end skill not necessary.

Enjoy the day all.

I’d ask you the same question if you really believe he was their best player. Because he was not. Not even close. He mishandled pucks left and right
