Series isn’t over yet if Leddy and Bortuzzo are back as well as Perunovich-who I think practiced.Leddy and Bortuzzo are skating. Damn, if Krug wouldn’t have went down, I think we could have came back and won this series.

Yeah. I’d scratch Mikkola as well and put Perunovich in as well.Leddy - Parayko
Scandella - Faulk
Mikkola - Bortuzzo
That’s not bad at all. We can still come back
I do not.Look at the bright side. If this series continues the way it has, the Blues will get to pick a little bit earlier in the draft. And Husso is playing himself out of a big raise next year which will help with the cap. Feel better now?
We've got this if our scoring depth materializes; otherwise, it's lights out. We've got this, just gotta win game 4 and its a whole new series, best of 3. Definitely need some healthy dmen.
I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him until 2023....i doubt we see krug again this season
Mikkola is the better defenseman but what has really suffered without Leddy and now Krug has been our transition game. Mikkolas passing and zone breakouts are not good to say the least and it stifles our offense as we are having to dump and chase off tipped dumpins rather than having controlled zone entries. Perunovich should be an asset on that side of thingsLmao. You are insane and don’t pay attention to hockey if you think Perunovich is a better option than Mikkola. Period.
Perunovich was flat out bad when he was in the lineup. Combine that with how much time he’s missed due to injury and how he has zero playoff experience.Mikkola is the better defenseman but what has really suffered without Leddy and now Krug has been our transition game. I tend to agree with you that coming off a major injury it would be a risky play to have him in the lineup. But I understand the rationale for doing so especially if he looks good at practice. I don't think he was that bad when he was playing, some rookie mistakes and still figuring things out but I didnt think he looked that out of place. And he was decent on the powerplay as wellPerunovich was flat out bad when he was in the lineup. Combine that with how much time he’s missed due to injury and how he has zero playoff experience.
Putting him in the lineup would be a disaster. Minnesota’s forwards would eat him up.

Unfortunately true tho. Check out his knee on the impact with Boldy here:That’s depressing
That was that dumb spasm of hitting by all the Blues on the ice after going down 2-0 early in the 1st. It was reckless and only got them even more banged up. At that point they had 50 minutes to get back in the game.
I wonder how much Berube would consider this. I don’t mind the idea.IF Perunovich is healthy enough to play, I wouldn't mind rolling 7 D and giving him sheltered offensive minutes. We've run 7 D throughout the season with pretty good results, and it could help mitigate the impact the next time we lose a defenseman in the first period...
