blocked a shot off his skate during the game and that could be why.

There's also these:

Doesn't exactly sound very confident. If you still can't fix your special teams at this point, that's a huge problem...

Same coach; and they're further removed from their last series win. Past performance is no indication of future performance; but recent trends should cause alarm for those expecting a deep run.
In 2019-2020 while blues werent best, we outplayed canucks but lost because markstrom was great while binnington was trash. We almost came back in series when we started allem but then went back to binny after allen lost one which might have cost us series.

Last year we were a worse team, with a .563 pt % going up against the #1 seed amd favorite with a .732 pt% and were missing our only pt per game player amd best player due to covid. We were supposed to lose. Avalanche were overwhelmingly favored even if perron was healthy, but without him we were never going to stamd chamce and would need miracle.

This year we have .673 pt percentage going against similar reg season team. Clearly much better than last years team offensively and husdp has had a much better season than binny last year.

Last years playoffs have nothing to do with this years.

In what world is that not even a penalty. This is the type of hit all the hockey federations are trying to take out of the game to protect players but the NHL allows this...you know, because it's the Wild. It unlikely this will be reviewed because they're already reviewing another Wild player and this will be overlooked.

I don't have an issue with that hit from Boldy. He took a few strides from the slot to get into the play, but he set his feet before the goal line. He catches him directly on the side and the puck is right there.

He didn't catch the head, he didn't get him from behind, he wasn't skating through the hit, and he didn't cover an absurd distance to get in position to make the hit. That was a tough outcome for Leddy and I would have understood a penalty. But I don't view that as a dirty hit at all and I think a non-call was fine.

I'm not sure how else Boldy could have hit Leddy there and I don't want an NHL where a defender making a play on the puck can't be hit on the hip/shoulder below the goal line.

What a league. We love it.

All this does is make the same scenario likely to happen against Minnesota now, since a standard has been set. If the league does not address things then players end up being the ones to do it. The NHL fails to understand this for whatever reason.

Someone is going to get severely hurt in a blowout loss in these playoffs because of the league being inconsistent and soft.

Well he isnt getting suspended so its time to move on. the best thing we can do is continue to pound their D and win games. Hopefully we can make the wild fans cry again in game 2.

Assuming Scandella will be ready for game 3, tomorrow would be good chance for Miko to exact some vengeance. Let them suspend guy who wasn't going to play anyway.

No suspension? Seriously? Okay, so the message they are sending is that all bets are off and start hacking away. Got it.

What the hell DPS?
