Tarasenko doesn’t get you Tkachuk unless you are adding a ton.Is Army going to pull off a blockbuster offseason???
Krug for strictly futures and then Tarasenko for Tkachuk.???
Something has to give

This chart reminds me that the Blues won a Cup with Del Zotto.
His defense and advanced stats have been in decline since our Cup season. He has been guilty of horrific turnovers, especially during the Avs series. You can’t have that out of a shutdown guy. What

Same for me. Except I would then want another LD picked up before the deadline.I think we can make due for now with Scandella, Krug, Perunovich and Mikkola at LD. I’d rather keep Tarasenko one more year with this roster and give it another cup run.
Tarasenko also ain't waiving for CalgaryTarasenko doesn’t get you Tkachuk unless you are adding a ton.
No interest in Dumoulin. He wasn't very good last season and he can't stay healthy.Blues are gonna end up with Pettersson or Dumoulin from Pittsburgh
could say the same thing about ChychrunNo interest in Dumoulin. He wasn't very good last season and he can't stay healthy.
Problem with him is he’s only a one year solution IMO. He’s 31 and is a UFA in a year. Would we re-sign him to an extension when he’s 32? I’d kinda hope not.Dumoulin would make sense.
I'm not as high on Chychrun as others but I think there's an argument to be made about each players' supporting cast.could say the same thing about Chychrun
mostly referring to his inability to stay healthy, but his 'bubble' year has some folks' opinion a bit skewed, imoI'm not as high on Chychrun as others but I think there's an argument to be made about each players' supporting cast.
I'm a big fan of the idea of buying low on a guy like Prov if that's truly how Fletcher and Co. view their position. Something tells me they value him more than this Twatter talking head would have you believe.

Looks like any Provorov trade would be for picks and prospects. For sure. Provorov is my favorite of the 3 names discussed this off-season, but I feel like the price isn't gonna be conveniently the pieces we want to move. But I'd be willing to pay more because he's exactly what is separating us from breaking through.
Therein lies the rub. I have no problem with parting with the assets for him, but Philly seems like they wouldn't accept/be a good landing spot for our salary. Krug is worse than a lateral move for them, Tank probably passes, and Barbashev/Scandella isn't enough cap space for us in the future. We'd need corresponding moves, which makes it invariably more complicated and a longer shot. And forget trying to figure this out midseason.Looks like any Provorov trade would be for picks and prospects.
3-way trade possibly? Tarasenko goes to one team (somewhere like NJ, NYI, plenty of $$$), Provorov comes to the Blues, picks and prospects sent to PhillyLooks like any Provorov trade would be for picks and prospects.
