I mean, good luck. I don't think it happens. Best to thang on to him and hope that he rebounds. Similar to Murray.

Edmonton offers Tyson Barrie and Mike Smith

Edit: Holy crap I didn't know he had 5 years @ $6million remaining. Offer rescinded.

Oh how the mediocre have fallen.
There are a lot of teams who’d sell their soul for that brand of mediocre - the kind that brought a Cup home. Teams have paid far much more and gotten far much less.

Blues had a strong blueline on their Cup win and now have a sheltered blueline.

Husso’s on a hot streak, I’m hoping it’s more than that but we know better.

Binny doesn’t have the numbers like you’d want but he’s hoisted the Cup, he’s a fighter with incredible mental toughness and he doesn’t choke.

If you’re a goalie shot and your blueline is sound, he is your missing piece.

Yes, he has a sizable contract but it’s not an albatross and hell - how much is a Cup worth to you?

While we're at this, here's a funny idea.

To VAN: Mrazek (1mil retained), Liljegren, Kostin
From VAN: Halak, Schenn, Motte

To TOR: Binnington (1mil retained), Motte
From TOR: Liljegren, Mrazek (1mil retention)

To STL: Halak, L.Schenn
From STL: Binnington (1mil retention)

You are out surfing. ”You know better that Husso is on a hot streak.” Lol.
After that you’re praising Binnington.
Have you watched any Blues games. Binnigton may have Ok numbers lately, but everyone sees that it’s not gonna hold. He’s all over the place in the games he’s played. ”Incredible mental toughnes and doesn’t choke.” He was att the right place att the right time. No more than that.

So you’re saying the quality of his blueline hasn’t changed at all?

Maybe you should watch some Blues games.

I don't know what's worse, your takes on Giroux or your takes on Binnington.

He has a good run when he broke into the league, helped the Blues win a fluke Cup, and he's getting paid for it retroactively. He might be a good option as a backup, but he's not worth $6 million to any other team.

Yes, who among us will ever forget that amazing save Scott Darling made to keep the score 2-0 in favor of his team in Game 7 of the Cup Final, on his way to his triumphant 16th win in those playoffs and...

wait, wut?

Binnington just like darling had come out of nowhere and played lights out , however both got paid on a fluke of a season believing they were the real deal... Gms are to blame for being that gullible to throw good money at a player for 1 good season especially a goalie...

Well yeah. But Binnington himself has also gotten worse and the incredible difference between him and Husso highlights that.
How much of that is Binny and how much of that is the team in front of him making him second guess things?

Husso was terrible and now he’s rocking. So did he actually dramatically improve or is it a hot streak? Which makes more sense?

I'd love him in Toronto. He's the kind of winner this team needs. Doubt there's a way to make the cap work tho, Blues would want no part of Mrazek.

Binnington and Campbell would be quite the tandem of polar opposite personalities. It'd be nice if his mean streak could rub off on Campbell a little bit.

At the end of the day I don't see the Blues trading him at all tho
I love this so much
