Noah Beck was also drafted the same year as Kesse. But yes we need to stock the cupboardsCan we try drafting some RHD this year
since 2012 (Parayko’s draft year) the only RHD this team have drafted are Tommy Vanelli and Matt Kessel
They further helped this cause by picking up Brady Lyle from the Bruins organization. Still not sure why they gave up on him so soon.Noah Beck was also drafted the same year as Kesse. But yes we need to stock the cupboards
We have a decent amount of promising defensive depth with Kessel, Tucker, Loof, Galloway (sleeper imo), but we need more right-handed shooters and natural RHD depth. Keeping an eye on Beck is worthwhile cuz understanding who can play well on their "off side" helps.Noah Beck was also drafted the same year as Kesse. But yes we need to stock the cupboards
Beck is a RHD. He might play on the left I’m not sure. At the time him and Kessel I believe we’re considered questionable picks. Bolduc scored the GWG in the 2nd period tonight. Quebec leads the series 2-1 and has a chance to advance to the final with a win tomorrow.
Bolduc has not been that good honestly in this series so far but the rumour is that he's playing despite a hip injury.
Neighbours connected for both of his goals, eight seconds apart at 4:52 and 5:00 of the first.Neighbors and the Oil Kings advance!
He hasn't had great playoffs. Anyone know if he has been battling injury? He seems to be off the Guenther line, which may account for some of drop in production, but during season Neighbours seemed to be driving Guenther points more than the reverse.Neighbours connected for both of his goals, eight seconds apart at 4:52 and 5:00 of the first.
Kessel, Tucker, or Dickinson are my picks.who's been the most pleasant surprise among your prospects? obviously toropchenko's emergence has been impressive, but i'd consider him an NHL player at this point.
I don't know if it is necessarily a surprise, but Zach Bolduc scored more goals than any player in the CHL that started the year at 18 or younger this past season, including Connor Bedard. He was on fire in the playoffs as well but has apparently been nursing a hip injury the last couple of weeks, right after dealing with a bout with the flu that burned through the Quebec locker room for about a week.who's been the most pleasant surprise among your prospects? obviously toropchenko's emergence has been impressive, but i'd consider him an NHL player at this point.
what's up with alexandrov? seemed to have a decent year in AHL, pretty productive in playoffs too.Kessel, Tucker, or Dickinson are my picks.
Potential bottom 6 center. I'm not sure how many on this board watch Springfield enough to know how likely a chance he has to make it. I'll also say Toropchenko isn't that much of a surprise to us that watched him at prospect and pro camps. He always looked like someone that would be an effective 4th liner.what's up with alexandrov? seemed to have a decent year in AHL, pretty productive in playoffs too.
dickinson i liked a lot in his draft year, just needed to fill out. tucker was a real unique guy.Potential bottom 6 center. Toropchenko was my top prospect and now it is Alexandrov. He can carve out a Barbashev-like role.dickinson i liked a lot in his draft year, just needed to fill out. tucker was a real unique guy.
haven't seen him much. do you like those guys' upside over alexandrov?
