I say this not having seen any of their games to know how he is playing or how he is being used, but as a 20 year old in that league I find his lack of offensive production a little concerning. His team is 8-0 in the playoffs, but aside from an OT goal he’s not really contributing on the scoresheet the way you would want a D+2 1st rounder to impact these games.
Wonder if he is playing hurt?

Rimouski caused a huge upset beating the Memorial Cup host Saint John in 5 games.

Bolduc and the Remparts will face his former team. The series starts on Sunday.

He was really producing prior to his injury, he was out a long time, and just came back recently. While the production is concerning, understanding that context helps a bit.

Most of the Remparts best players got the flu this week including Bolduc. He missed two days of practice but I doubt he’ll be 100% healthy even though he’s playing tonight.

Toro is 4th liner with size and speed but limited offense.
Peru is undersized skilled defenseman who struggled at times defensively. Has had some injury issues. Smart with puck and great offensive instincts.
Hofer is big goalie who wasn’t ready for nhl. Has potential but needs time.

Three months ago I thought it was probably 80/20 that he never came to North America. I wonder how many other prospects (and even developed players) change their plans due to the uncertainty around the viability of continuing KHL operations.

We now have 5 goaltenders under contract for next season (Binnington, Hofer, Ellis, Cranley and Zherenko) and our current #2 and #3 (Husso and Lindgren) are UFAs. I don't see any of the #4 - #7 guys ready for NHL starts next season, so it will be interesting to see how this situation resolves itself.

Realistically: Re-sign Lindgren as our backup, trade Husso’s UFA rights in the summer, Hofer and Ellis split time in Springfield, Zherenko starts in ECHL.

I’d love to keep Husso, but think the above is more likely to happen.

Quebec plays tonite in Rimouski, could finish that series. (up 2 games to 1, best of 5)

Edmonton opens tonite in Winnipeg, best of 7.

Thunderbirds Game #1 Sunday vs Charlotte.

Bolduc scored the last goal in an empty net in a 5-2 win. He also added an assist. Hopefully he can get healthy for the next round after battling with the flu for a week. Quebec's first line wasn't good this series.

Game #1 of the semifinal against Shawinigan will be played on Wednesday.

It’d be pretty cool if Quebec/Edmonton end up facing each other in the Memorial Cup. Still a little ways out, and both teams have to keep winning, but still would be fun to see our top 2 prospects face each other on the big stage.

Looks like he was credited with 2 helpers?
