Can Bolduc play in the AHL next year or is his only option Juniors again, assuming he doesn’t make the Blues out of camp?
He isn’t eligible for AHL. Would love to see him make big club out of camp and see how it goes. Can Bolduc play in the AHL next year or is his only option Juniors again, assuming he doesn’t make the Blues out of camp?
would be awesome to see him play well enough at camp to get to stay for his 9 games and work with the coaches and trainers, and practice with the teamHe isn’t eligible for AHL. Would love to see him make big club out of camp and see how it goes.
Well, looks like we better trade him......Bolduc's team blew a 3-1 lead tonight to get eliminated in QMJHL playoffs.
Bolduc scored the GWG in the 2nd period tonight. Quebec leads the series 2-1 and has a chance to advance to the final with a win tomorrow.
Bolduc has not been that good honestly in this series so far but the rumour is that he's playing despite a hip injury.
Thanks for all of your updates this season. Did we ever get confirmation of this? I'd love to see him play in the AHL on an ATO while Springfield is still alive, but I can't see them doing that if he has an injury that requires treatment or rest.
Bolduc had “a few minor sores” in the groin, in the playoffs, but the Trois-Rivières native forward refuses to use it as an “excuse or as a reason” to explain what he describes as a lack of jump in recent weeks.
The team's sniper admits to feeling the pressure to produce on offense. “Especially at the start of the playoffs, we put a lot of pressure on ourselves. Me and Théo [Rochette] and we were talking about it. We saw our depth with the offense that came from all the lines. It was a relief that it wasn't just us, but four lines that could produce."
A first round pick of the St. Louis Blues last year, Bolduc will join their AHL team, the Springfield Thunderbirds, in Laval in the coming hours. He shouldn't play, unless injuries, but he promises to enjoy the experience.
I got groin sores in Naples once.
Just went to Tbirds website and Bolduc is listed on roster. Up popped a chat prompt and so I hit it and asked if Bolduc was available to play for the Birds next year and the answer was yes though she was unsure if he would play in playoffs because of injury. She was quite confident he would be playing next year and not sure why they would post him on the roster if not. So there is that.He isn’t eligible for AHL. She is wrong. He isn't eligible to play in AHL next year until his QMJHL season is over. Same as this year. He will be eligible the following year without limitation.Just went to Tbirds website and Bolduc is listed on roster. It would be nice to have Neighbours have the experience of winning a prestigious championship like The Memorial Cup. Go Oil Kings!Edmonton up 3 games to 1 over Seattle.
One more win and Neighbours wins the WHL championship and a trip to the Memorial Cup.
I love to read things like this. I think those Blues fans who think Neighbours is overrated by many posters here, and think his scoring ability in Juniors won't translate on a similar footing into The NHL, are wrong. I can't wait for him to Join The Blues. Their young core needs to have new members added. Too high a % of The Blues' current key players are over 27. They've got to get a bigger proportion of their difference-makers 26 or below. I'm counting on Bolduc, too.Big W for Neighbours and the oil kings to punch their ticket to the Memorial Cup.
Neighbours looked great, had assists on both oil king goals, including a really nice assist on Guhle's goal and several other grade A scoring chances. He was playing big minutes on the PK & PP, and was on the ice for the final shift defending the lead...you love to see it!
I have always considered players i their prime to be between 27 and 32.I love to read things like this. While many folks think that way, data indicates it’s several years younger on both ends.I have always considered players i their prime to be between 27 and 32.
