Was at the game. Great game between 2 great teams. Got to say thought Calgary's front line was dominate but then again so was ours. Both teams are tough to score on. Crazy way to end the game!

Hate to say it, but, end of the day, Calgary got almost every bounce, almost every call, and were mostly healthy (we aren't) and they came off a bye while we have played three times in 12 days. And we still got it done.

Don't want to get ahead of myself but this team does what it needs to win. They're clutch. That's championship football.

I can never thank Suckskatchewan enough for giving up on Jefferson. He is easily our best player on D. And Collaros was good again today. He buys so much time in the pocket.

That new receiver looked really good too. Hard to believe he's a third stringer.

I don’t want to say it because it’s the ultimate jinx, but the Bombers are starting to make a believer out of me.

I’m sure they’ll lose next week just cause I said that, but let’s hope not. Let’s keep it going.

Go Blue Go

Might Collaros be the best QB the Bombers have ever had?
Best QB in my lifetime, at least.

Of course, I spent most of my growing years with such gems as Max Hall, Justin Goltz, Alex Brink, and Stefan LeFors behind center.

Pierce was good but just couldn’t stay healthy.

Right there with Tom Clements.
Ralph Brock - Glad that Clements beat him in the Grey Cup but Dieter could fire that football.

Dunnigan?

Collaros is doing something very special. It’s a real team effort but there is no denying how good he is. He has to be one of the best Bombers QBs of all time. What a treat to watch him play .

Busy game, took awhile to get out. Just got home, little heat stroke, voice super scratchy from yelling. But great game, lots of fun. Great atmosphere, hope it showed up on tv cause it was fairly loud. Not quite Banjo Bowl or Playoff game hype, but as close as youll get. Chalk up another W for the good guys. Ill have more complete thoughts tmw, but Ill mention I think if anything Agudosi could have easily had an even bigger game. The O PI review (just one quick in stadium replay was it legit?), a deep corner just missed and a wide open post play that would have been a 30 yard walk in TD but Collaros went to Ellingson instead for a ~20 yard completion.

Definitely the best QB we’ve had since I’ve been a blue bomber fan

Oh man I forgot some of those names haha. Collaros is in a completely different league. Watching him run and gun is a thing of beauty. He is the best player on this team and his record makes it dream-like being a bomber fan. This is definitely “his team”

Now if we can just sort out RB and FGs…

Carlton Agudosi makes his CFL debut tmw night. Made the PR last year after they had ~15 rookie WR in camp and spent the year on PR. Was an early front runner for a spot in camp, but got injured and eventually Schoen won the spot (no regrets there obviously). But excited. Is apparently a 50/50 ball specialist with great hands, aided by his 6'6" frame. Kinda low key very excited to see him play.

Somebody called it before the game.

My Bombers’ plays are something like the sun;
The score and the game put now to bed:
If beer be gold, why then Calgary's colour'd dun;
If the crowd be wired, we're with 6 wins wed.
I have seen Calgary unmanned, red and white,
But no such roses see I in Bo Levi's cheeks;
And in some games is there more delight
Than in the breath that from tsn's crew reeks.
While I love to hear Matt's tejas speak, well I know
That TD music hath a far more pleasing sound:
I grant I never saw a Defence play so,
And the D line, when they sack, tread on the shaking ground:
And yet by heaven, I think my team as rare,
As any from the past belied with quick compare.
