don't be such debbie downers.
things depends on the O line.
if that's average to good, then they'll be in the playoff hunt. a certain team out west is sure having some QB injury issues.

The bombers would need every starting qb in the west to go out by game 5 to have a sniff at the playoffs the reality of it is they can hope to be competitive and keep the fans they got going into future years.

Disagree. Bombers are in a group of probably 4 teams going for the last playoff spot (3rd place in East) with Edmonton, Montreal and Ottawa. None of them are all that impressive and any one of them can step up. The great thing about the CFL is you can turn a team around in one year, no reason for the amount of pessimism in this thread.

My hope is that the Bombers are a very competitive worst team in the league, with Drew Willy establishing himself. This is a building year towards the next couple as strong contenders, and the #1 overall pick in a really good and deep 2015 draft (inverse of this years limited draft with loads of NCAA guys having their draft year moved back) can only help. There are a handful of excellent OL and a couple great receivers who will probably be in the mix for 1st overall. Problem will be navigating who has a NFL shot.

In reality, I think the Bombers will probably be the 2nd worst team in the league, maybe 3rd depending on Edmonton. Montreal's D can win them several games, they really get after it, a little inconsistent, but spectacular when they are on.

In reality neither Toronto nor Hamilton is all that impressive either. It wouldn't shock me at all to see CGY-BC-SSK as top 3 records then the next 6 as a toss up.

How old were you when the bombers last won a Cup?

Every year it's always we will be better. Allot of times it doesn't pan out. And after the last couple years it's hard to be optimistic about this team.
For all the **** I give them, I truly do hope that they turn it around and have a great year.
I am just not convinced they will. (But it will be better than last year)

One thing i noticed already is Willy's scrambling. He might be able to take the heat off the O-line during the season with that.

If anyone's watching the game on tv, have they focused on the weird play posters the Argos are using at all? Hard to see across the field. Far as we can tell it's how they're dealing with the noise for play calling.

Finally have a QB after 4? years. Thank goodness.

Looks like the Bombers are going to do better than I thought. They are playing well but are getting some help from Toronto.
