Every single one of his TDL acquisitions has paid off. He somehow added 4 playoff contributors, dumped Greenway’s contract for next season, and ended up with more assets than he lost. I’m one of the biggest critics of Guerin, but what he did this season is the most impressive GM performance in our history.

I'm the biggest, but he had a great trade deadline.

Also nice that he didn't spend any assets to pick up Domi despite our center depth. His only positive contribution to Dallas hockey this series has been taking a stick to the face.

I would have enjoyed paying attention to the buyout years if we were competing for legit impact picks , it scraping and clawing for 1st round exits like usual. f*** this entire team and state. 32 years of complete bullshit

Like I've said...it seems like it's misery for you...maybe find something else.

About 5 years ago I was as big of a Wild fan as anyone here, within the last few years I’ve dealt with a health issues ( who develops an autoimmune disorder at 34?!?), it really changed your perspective on what’s important.

I’ve come to realize that no matter how much I wish, want, place voodoo vexes, etc I can’t change what happens. It’s best to take everything in stride.

Wild win? Awesome!
They’re doing well? Even better!
They lost or suck? Sure, it isn’t ideal but there are so many other things in life that SHOULD bring one happiness that one should focus on those. Not get all bent out of shape because the result isn’t what you hoped for.

Edit: just replying to you, not aimed at you.

Nah I’m just a realist and know we are cursed with having to watch this garbage for the rest of my life. All 4 sports , every year. Disgusting disappointment . Pretty simple

Realist and cursed don't jive together...
Yes they do when history says this is 100% our fate. We as a state are doomed to suffer this for whatever reason, I think it’s because as a populace we are too stupid to reject these teams when they fail so there is no incentive for the leagues to make them better with their heavy hand. Look what the Blackhawk’s fans do. The team sucks and the arena is empty. 3 years later they have a star studded cast ti bring them many cups.

A realist looks at reality, they don't make up curses which are complete fiction.

You are a true pessimist not a realist. You think the result is predetermined against what you want.

Stoicism may serve you well if this is your perspective.

I study it deeply , every negative situation in my life is something to learn from. Instead of screaming f***ing :eek::eek::eek: at the tile saw when the edge of a tile breaks I should relax and try to realize why the tile broke and what I can do to make it right the next try!!!

That was my practice in stoicism today!!!

Except year after year , against all odds …..my perspective is proven to hold true and those that think it’s our time to win are left holding the bag

You know, there's a whole lot between... and that's generally where realists reside.

Your problem is you think it's all or nothing. Only 1 team can win it all at the end of the year, so by percentage, if you think all or nothing and bet nothing... duh. Most team's don't get there either.

Nothing about the Wild not winning is "against all odds"... not even close. They haven't been in position to be a favored team hardly ever.

Hm. Then apply similar logic to your supposed idea of a “curse” and move on.
Nothing external to you should bother you to the point of confused principles and notions.

No , all i was looking for was a single series win. Just any spark , this ain’t a cup team but laying down against this pathetic starts squad is trash

Honestly, it's just attention seeking behavior at this point.
It’s called internet hyperbole , if you’re not entertained by it then lighten up Francis
