If you ask most people the first word that popped into their head when they saw that photo I bet the majority would pick a word that starts with ‘c’ and rhymes with………
Coral. The word for that color is coral.

The powerplay breakout drop pass
Cross checks after the whistle that are never penalized.
When everyone’s favourite weirdo,Pierre McGuire, started to do it 20 years ago.Why sportsnet/tsn/the NHL now does all this trivial shit.
Hey, this player has the most goals scored on a Tuesday with a surname starting with N and has a birthday late than July.and between the 8th and 10th of the month.
But only for his team, not even league wide.
When the f*** did this shit start becoming popular ?
...but writing "Federov" IS a big deal? Or should we expect further posts telling people to calm down about other issues brought up in this thread such as mispronouncing "offside" or tucking their jersey?WTF does that rattle you so much? Pretty childish and pathetic when you think of it. Cant believe that 10-15 mins is such a big deal. So if Staff Sargeant <insert name> comes home after a year and change overseas to surprise his family at center ice thats not cool and shouldnt happen? WOW!!! Dont see the players having a problem with it when they skate up for the puck drop. A fan shouldnt either.
Same with the anthem, its not that big of a deal either. Only thing I would suggest is for teams to get better singers. Not ones that sing the canadian anthem in a Sinatra type of way like the guy in the Ducks/Oilers game last week. You know theres things you can do in that 5 mins right? You're not forced to be in your seat if the anthem ruins your game experience.
Yes, it gets far worse during the early rounds of the playoffs, and fans like it, for some reason. Of course the players are doing it to get in each other's heads, but it really breaks up the flow of a game to have these long scrums after each whistle. If you think about it, what is allowed to go on after the whistle in the NHL is ludicrous. Off the top of my head it may be one of the most ridiculous thing I can think of in professional sports. Even in combat sports like boxing or MMA, when the whistle blows the participants immediately disengage. Why should a face wash after the whistle be allowed instead of it resulting in an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty? (other than because it's always been that way, of course) Try to imagine a player in any other sport walking up to an opponent after the whistle, sticking his hand in his face, and mashing it. It's hard to do.
This goes for ESPN and every sport ever. It's ridiculousWhy sportsnet/tsn/the NHL now does all this trivial shit.

The lack of exposure super girl has gotten in the NHLHere are some to get started with:
- team has full control with the puck behind the net with time for a controlled breakout, try a long breakout pass only to chip it in and lose possession
- team works all game to generate open looks at 5on5, get that kind of look on the PP and pass off instead of shooting
THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THISBelief in the non-existent "Loser Point". Don't like the extra point? Okay, remove it from the team that 'wins' a gimmicky OT/SO contest. The real hockey game ended in a tie. If one team was better, they would've won in 60 minutes. They didn't. So both teams split the 2 points, just like they did through hockey history.
It amazes me that some fans are so starved for a win they'll place their faith in a 5-minute skills competition over a complete and legitimate hockey game.
It’s still going on. He’s morphed into Josh Bailey.Leafs fans must have lost their voices during the Tomas Kaberle years, because of the times he refused to shoot the puck.
