BTW flipped over to Rags V Chi, not just because the Hawks are wearing their reds but because Fleury has been lights out the last couple of weeks.

Honestly after last weekend whatever. We won. It got sloppy but we got new lines and new pairs. Whatever 2 points

Just be ready for Thursday.

Not a pretty W but they'll happen sometimes.

They just have to get through this next little stretch until Christmas and tighten up defensively and pick their spots on offence while they're missing key players.

They'll be alright.

Go Leafs Go

Looking at the standings - can someone explain why every year Boston always has games in hand?

Is it a building thing?

Defense has gotten leaky in the last two weeks .. After a lot of hard fought 1 goal games earlier in the year, that play as slipped as the goals have started coming in.

Ebbs and flows of the season for sure but it's something you don't want to see over a long period of time.

Also Campbell with his best save of the year.

Could Rubins replace Holl in the future? Great game, sloppy 3rd period but took the win for Spezza and Sandin.

The Avs game aside.
The Wilds game, they just got really really favorable bounces, bouncing off a skate or else it would be 10 feet wide and another one off refs. Can’t really use that game.
The Jets game, they were bad but it was a back to back with 7hrs bus ride, don’t know why they didn’t fly.
Todays game, the last goal is one of those if the Leafs was up by one, they would not let it happen. I admit that’s the mentality they need to adjust.
Then there was a goal being scored on with 4 guys who should be in the lineup and playing together.

Overall, I think the boys are not as tight as before but I think they are starting to know how to win and hope they can continue.

A little credit to Columbus for battling like that; they didn't throw in the towel and I respect that. For the most part, that was a good effort all round. Mathews is just flying right now and that will be huge if he can stay red hot until we some regs back.

Sloppy 3rd, but hey, regulation win against a decent team with Marner, Spezza and Sandin all out (and replaced by much weaker players in Clifford, Steeves and Rubins), I’ll take it.

Until these guys start re-entering the lineup, the wins we get are likely to be less impressive. Really if we can just stay around .500 over the next couple weeks, that’d be fine.
