Sloppy D after a long road trip with mixed up lines and fatigue made the game close.

A good first period sealed the deal.

Take the two points and enjoy a day of rest and get right back on the horse.

Tampa will be tough.

Diju mean "the Bud's are lined up for a great statement win!"

First home game back is usually a killer with the home team tiring by the 3rd period. It's great to get a win under those circumstances even if it was ugly.

Don’t critique wins but Campbell had to make a lot of difficult saves. Defencecwas porous to say the least, especially Rielly and Brodie.

Please put Steeves on a line that has some skill. He skates so well, is smart, always gets into position, always ready to shoot. Very impressed.

Very pleased to see Mo having some success in the D zone. He's having a pretty strong year supporting the overall success of the team with his efforts on the PK and denying the other team access to the Leafs zone ES. The day he signed, Oct 29 I think, and the reaction by his teammates, speaks volumes as to how he's valued in the room. Every team has a horse on the back end, and Rielly's ours. 20th OA in TOI at 24:11/game and now sitting tied for 5th in scoring for D.

And some teams have a horse's rear end:naughty:

Sometimes other teams score goals, it happens. Leafs were letting in one to two goals a game or less for about 5 weeks in a row, what more do you want from them?

I want them to play better then what we saw in the 3rd because Tampa is next

that was a lot better than a 1 goal win. Sometimes tough breaks happen, but they scored enough so it didn't matter. Just getting the win is all that really matters though
Yeah I'm not making too big of a deal for the third. Leafs have been good at shutting things down in the 3rd so I'll just say it's a one off.

Goals are goals are goals

the 3rd and 4th by the Hornblowers were a little bit lumpy they may have counted but they don't matter. The deuce is what matters that and knowing they can still win, even with some important guys sidelined.

The third period nap has to be addressed though, before it becomes a habit they can't shake off. Really good teams come back and win those kind of games.
