Picked up Gungrave, an animé series. Never heard of it before but for 5$ i can hardly go wrong. Looks hardcore...

Anyone has seen this?

It's based on a video game (though most people forget that the game came first), and the character design was done by the same guy behind Trigun (Yasuhiro Nightow).

Never watched it myself, but apparently it's meant to be a prequel to the game series.

Sambo but Sam for short. I'll try posting a picture later. That was his name when we got him (age 2), figured we would keep it since he's so familiar with it even though it's not a good word to use.

Naw, only hissed at me 1 time. No cat tags, he only wore his fur. He wasn't a mean kitty at all, loves his space though but when me and my dad watch TV he always lays between the 2 of us (i'm on chair, he's on couch, cat on floor).

Almost the worst. My last cat was a tabby and had FIP, had to put him down right away (age 4) as it's worse then this cancer IMO, although this is the worst type of cancer since it comes out of nowhere and eats you alive in a VERY short amount of time.

I meant putting a pet down, but the causes are also awful. I think over my life two were cancer and one was a stoke or something like that. One cancer was fast, fine at the yearly checkup, sick a few months later and then it was like two weeks of steep decline that should have been ended earlier. He was a beautiful dog, stunning and then poof. He wasn't even 7.

My dog, my sweet always trying to maim me angel, had mange as a puppy. Really bad, might not make it according to some mange, I think I blocked most of it out, but she was bald, covered in little puss pimples and had scratched a huge hole in her cheek. That's right up there for me... she's probably taken years off my life. She got attacked by a dog at the off leash and miraculously didn't lose an eye from a claw to the face, less than a mm and all she got was an eye infection. Years off my life.

Again, I am so sorry.

Gungrave and its sequel Gungrave OD are both PS2 games.

Ugh, sorry about that 66. I went through something similar with my cat Phoenix back in 2006. While I was at work he had a seizure while sitting on the couch and fell off, my dad took him to the vet and he was put down soon after I arrived. He was 3.

One of the worst feelings in the world.

every time I open this thread I have to give my dogs a hug. I've lost two pets, but both were when I was a kid and it was more of a family pet. It was really sad, but I didn't have the same attachment as I do with these two since I feel much more responsible for them. I've also never had to have one put down; both of my old dogs were killed in accidents. I would be a complete blubbering mess. brb, hugging my dogs again.

I actually didn't finish my last Chrono run either. I forgot to get the armor that cuts magic damage down and didn't feel like backtracking out of the dungeon I was in to get it. Dalton kept killing me with his fire explosion thing.
