Wilson done in Denver. Cant bring him back after this move and its clear Payton does not want him

Oddly Wilson is having good year and is only reason Broncos are in playoff picture

Will go down as possibly the worst trade in NFL history

The Hershel Walker trade still has it beat, as that held back a Vikings team while setting the stage for a Cowboys dynasty.

But yeah, just all kinds of awful of a result for Denver.

Just a shame that so many Seattle fans had to be douchebags towards Wilson on his way out.

Wilson is not having a good year, it's just to show how terrible someone like Fields is at passing. Really pushing the need to move on. Wilson is that average what you can get stats up to if you just throw it. But he's looked awful most games.

He looked terrible and awful every game I saw his last year of Seattle too, but if you see the stats it seems fine. It's just being terrible but throwing it up and letting guys win

While true there is still plenty of time to watch how this trade ultimately ends up as far as how lopsided

Right now its absurdly lopsided

Seahawks walked away with a young starting LT (Cross), A rising star EDGE (Mafe), a stud CB (Witherspoon), A promising OLB (Hall) and a solid TE (Fant)

All these guys outside of Fant are either in 1st or 2nd year in NFL careers

100% dude is a terrible passer. His sack rate is 30th and that line is not even close to 30th bad.

USC’s backup managed to throw 6 touchdowns to Caleb’s teammates against the #16 ranked team.

I heard Hub on the score on my drive home last night. He seems to think the Bears need a QB...says Fields doesnt see the field fast enough, and guys that don't click by the end of their 3rd year pretty much never take that final step.

He thinks it's not really teachable, and you either have it or you don't. Fields doesn't. Makes sense to me.

He even threw out a stat that 83% of 1st round QB's end up in the category most would consider as a bust.

Hub also mentioned he doesn't think Caleb Williams is worth the top pick in the draft.

The Chicago Bears have traded the number 1 overall pick to Washington for the number 3 overall pick, #36, 2025 1st, and a 2026 2nd.

Washington at 1 selects Caleb Williams.
Arizona at 2 selects Marvin Harrison Jr.

What do you do at 3 if you are the Bears?

Left tackle, Drake maye, d-line, or another trade down for the Georgia tight end or lsu/Washington receiver.

OT. Fashanu or Alt. Whichever one your scouts are higher on to be the LT of the future. Then the next pick at 6-8 you pick the best DE available.

If I'm the Bears though, I would trade down twice. Keep one of their picks in the top 10, and the other pick you trade and accumulate as much draft capital as you can.

The Bears got more for Bryce Young.

If you're making that trade, you have to be setting it to take Maye, or you make another trade. Unless you thought AZ was going to trade out.

I’m more married to moving on from Fields than I am it having to be a specific way.

I like Williams personally, and I think people go out of their way to hate him, but I like the tools Maye has too.

Keeping Fields is the nightmare I don’t want to live.

I think as others said, you take the OT rather it's Fashnu or Alt.

Why would we draft a T so high? We just used a high 1st on a RT and IMO Jones is developing nicely at LT. The injury derailed him a bit this year, but he has been slowly rounding into form recently.

If you're looking to move down the Patriots are likely team if you plan to try and stay in top 4

Pats are likely to jettison BB and its full rebuild/start over so landing Williams or Maye will be priority for them but at #4 (If they remain there) they wont land either

Something like (If teams end up remaining in spots they are now)

To Pats - #1 overall
To Bears - #4 overall, #35 and Pats 2025 1st + Pats 2025 4th

If you are moving on from Fields

At #4 - Draft QB Drake Maye (If he is still available) or Jayden Daniels
At #8 - Draft WR Malik Nabers or Rome Odunze

At #35 draft draft the best available Edge or DT to bolster OL

Later picks in 3rd/4th/5th round you draft CB, S, OC or OG

If you are not moving on from Fields

At #4 - Draft EDGE Dallas Turner

See if any of the big 3 QB's are still there at #8, If they are try to trade down with QB needy team like Raiders or Broncos into early teens.

Draft best available WR or Newton (If he is available) if you trade down

If you cant find trade down partner or all QB's are gone then at #8 go with Nabers or Ozune (Depending on who is available)

2nd round go with S or DT

Rest of draft use on positions of need not addressed

Stud left tackle is a stud left tackle

I will take the 24 yr old LT who had strong rookie year and despite injury this year looks solid over spending a top pick on another T and hoping he proves to be able to play LT in NFL

Unless the Bears are willing to trade out of top 5, I dont think they can get a huge haul on pick

If Bears are willing to drop into early teens, the Raiders I could see as team offering alot of futures and maybe a good roster player back in deal to replicate the Panthers deal of this past draft

A lack of conviction that he’s 1oa worthy isn’t hate. If Chicago takes him I’ll root like hell for him to succeed. But there are some real question marks.
