Supposedly all depends on if Jalen Carter is there for Pittsburgh
I think he will be but if not, what then?

Bears take Skoronski?

Heard Wanny today and he's not high on Paris Johnson said they had to help him with another blocker in bowl game and another game he watched, Van Ness just blew him up.

Should be interesting.

If Carter is there Chicago should take him.
Wouldn’t bother me one bit if the bears feel comfortable with him. Talent is undeniable. Just hasn’t been a smart 6 weeks for him.

Not sure. Personally I love skoronski. Johnson doesn’t bother me either. Personally I like jones better than Johnson.
If they drop to 17 in a trade with Pittsburgh your looking probably at Darnell Wright from tennesse and a nice shot at Joey Porter Jr

According to Albert Breer many NFL team scouts dont see Skoronski as NFL T

If that is case he probably will be potentially a big 1st round slide down. From talk of potential top 10 to maybe late 1st

I think I dislike Rogers more than the packers themselves. Is that weird? Hopefully the trade works out terribly for both, somehow.

Horrible trade for the Jets. The vax liar Rodgers has won as many conference titles as Rex Grossman, one, and that was in his prime. He turns 40 December 2nd.

Jets gotta Jets, I guess.

With that said, the packers now have the worst QB in the division. That feels good to say.

GB traded the 15th OA pick for the 13th OA pick.

If Rodgers plays 65% of the plays, GB gets the Jets 2024 first round pick. I love this trade for the Pack.

How hilarious would it be if the Packers took a WR in the first round now that Rodgers is gone? Would that not be the most spiteful fvck you in the history of spiteful fvck you?

The narrative that Packers didn't support Rodgers and draft offensive talent has always been absurd

Some notable players drafted or UDFA by Packers at RB/WR/RB/OL during Rodgers time as starter

RB Eddie Lacy (2nd round)
RB AJ Dillon (2nd round)
RB Jamaal Williams (4th round)
RB Aaron Jones (5th round)
RB James Sparks (6th round)
FB John Kuhn = (UDFA)
WR Jordy Nelson (2nd round)

WR Randall Cobb (2nd round)
WR Devante Adams (2nd round)
WR Christian Watson (2nd round)
WR Romeo Doubs (4th round)
WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (5th round)
WR Allen Lazard (UDFA)
TE Jermicheal Finley (3rd round)
TE Robert Tonyan (UDFA)
C Elgton Jenkins (2nd round)
C Corey Linsley (5th round)
T Bryan Bulaga (1st round)
T Derek Sherrod (1st round)
T Jason Spriggs (2nd round)
T David Bakhtiari (4th round)
G Josh Myers (2nd round)
T/G Josh Sitton (4th round)
T/G T.J. Lang (4th round)
G Jon Runyan Jr (6th round)

Bolded + Underlined = All Pro + Pro Bowler
Underlined = Pro Bowler

The Packers also made 4 splash TE signings to appease Rodgers none of them worked out all that well.

Jared Cook
Martellus Bennett
Jimmy Graham
Marcedes Lewis

The offense that Rodgers inherited.

RB Ryan Grant (Before injuries ruined his career)
WR Greg Jennings (Star WR)
WR Donald Driver (Star WR)
WR James Jones (Became a solid #3 WR over his career)
TE Donald Lee

LT Chad Clifton (One of the best LT in NFL during his career)
LG Daryn Colledge (NFL starting LG for 9 years, 5 of them in GB)
C Scott Wells (One of the best C in NFL during his time in GB)
RG Jason Spitz (Was looking like foundation piece until his career altering injury)
RT Mark Tauscher (Reliable RT his time in GB though injuries plagued his final years)

But the way you here it poor Aaron has no one to play with

As for the guys selected on D during that time some of whom you know actually carried the Packers to a SB victory.

DT B.J. Raji (1st round
DT Kenny Clark (1st round
DT Mike Daniels (4th round

DT Devonte Wyatt (1st round)
DE Dean Lowry (4th round)
DE Kingsley Enagbare (5th round)
DE/LB Nick Perry (1st round)
LB Clay Matthews (1st round)
LB Rashan Gray (1st round)
LB Quay Walker (1st round)
LB Blake Martinez (4th round)
CB Jaire Alexander (1st round)
CB Casey Hayward (2nd round)
S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (1st round)
S Darnell Savage (1st round)
S Morgan Burnett (3rd round)
S Micah Hyde (5th round)

Hyde + Hayward became Pro Bowlers after leaving GB

I would say struggles in GB were not about giving Rodgers talent but consistently finding and developing talent on D which the Packers have struggled with usually using FA to make up for that shortfall with some notable FA's (Julius Peppers comes to mind)

The reality is often times Rodgers let the Packers down, but the media blamed everyone but Rodgers

He is douche and has always been coddled by media. He will get reality check going to NY where the media is not going to worship him and make excuses for him when he falters

I get Alonzo Spellman flashbacks with Carter.

Spellman was good player before his mental health became issue.

Problem was trading away Trace Armstrong (Idiotic) and having no viable replacement which meant Spellman was only threat to rush passer from edge as Albert Fontenot f***ing sucked.

I didn't understand what Bears and Wanny saw in Fontenot. He couldn't rush the passer or stop the run. He was absolutely worthless.

And Bryan Cox was complete bust as FA. He did more bitching and moaning than anything else during his time in Chicago

Bears D has Spellman, Flanigan, Carrier and Woolford and not much else worth a damn in mid 90's
