Well the Bears were good then. The Packers were barely a speed bump for them. Giants, Skins, and Niners games were the marquee opponents.

I am good with the poles hiring. And it sounds like he will have full control over the head coach hiring. But dan quinn is such a blah hiring if the buzz is too believed. Ask atl fans what they think of quinn..

At this point the biggest concern should be finding an offensive minded coach that can help develop and maximize Fields. Throw away the list the Bears had before and let Poles pick his guy.

For the GM thing. Honestly, this Poles thing feels like deja vu from the Pace hiring. Rising young assistant from a top organization, great eye for talent, that most in the NFL say is an amazing hire. And they're less than a year apart in age from what Pace was when he was hired. But hey, just because Pace failed, doesn't mean Poles will as well. So I'm fine with it and hope the guys kills it.

3 years probably isn't enough. Especially with this draft being compromised from the Fields trade.

good coaches come from both sides of the ball. It will be just as important if a coach can put together a good coaching staff
