People really need to stop saying that the Bears have another capable play caller in Thomas Brown if they take play calling duties away from Waldron. Brown had a chance to play call last season for the Panthers. They scored more than 15 points as many points as they scored 0 points with him in that role.
Could he do better with the Bears? Sure. But he's a big ol' question mark at best.

I wonder how the offense would look if Moore and Allen straight up missed a game. I'm not convinced it would be worse.

Yeah he is. Williams is still doing things that 4th year in the league Justin Fields is not doing.
Braxton, Kiran and Darnell all out. So I'm guessing Borom and Curhan will be the tackles. I have no idea who comes after those two. I thought Bates, Kramer and Pryor were all IOL??????

On the one hand, I can see multiple arguments for Pryor moving out to left tackle, Bates taking his place on the interior, and Borom playing RT over Curhan.
On the other hand, I refuse to spend time discussing which polished turd is shinier. This is gonna be ugly.
Edit: Bates has been activated to the 53 man roster. I think we'll see an interior of Jenkins-Shelton-Bates.

I'm just going to complain a bit about the decision to not pick up a Big Fat Guy (BFG) at some point as a backup DT.
Big Bill going down was definitely about the worst case scenario for the Bears' defense, and there is absolutely nothing to replace him behind him. Billings is officially playing at 310lbs. I'd be shocked if he's actually below 330lbs. He's straight up difficult to move. Pickens is 300lbs. Chris Williams is 300lbs. Byron Coward is 300lbs. All three are taller than Billings. None qualify as a BFG, and all of them are really just backup 3Ts.
Why not just pick up an adequate BFG in case this exact thing happened? NTs and 1Ts are extremely cheap, whether in FA, draft, or in trades. Even if this didn't happen, the team still falls apart against the run when Billings isn't in there because Cowart, Pickens, and Williams just get moved off their spots.
