Hard disagree. Panarin wasn't great but at least he contributed to the win. Strome missed at least 4 point blank shots and thats just the obvious stuff.

I can respect that. I just didn't see anything Panarin had tonight. Passes getting intercepted. Lazy zone entries.

Stolen Credit Card?

I know. He said in the postgame that he called the TO to run a play with 6 seconds left after a reporter asked him if he called a time out to buy time for Igor. Then he said he didn’t even think about that, but that’s a really good point. The guy seems clueless to me.
I don't think that's fair for that particular situation. I imagine he was like everyone else and probably thought Shesty was gone for the game. Nobody has ever seen this stuff before. As far as "the guy seems clueless to me" as a general comment ...........look in the mirror next time you say that.

Jack Edwards really saying Igor was diving? Seriously? The contact was directly to his head and neck with his head bending way back and he fell back because of it. In what universe is this a dive?

Miller might have won the game, but he was shit for the actual game. Like brutal.

Didnt even move when his goalie was run over, well until laf attacked smith.

also multiple defensive gaffes or bad positioning.

luckily he redeemed himself in the SO.

shesty is just unbelievable.

chytil looked good. Hunt sucks. Wish there was another fast player to stick on a line with him and goat. Why not at least try barron. He cant be worse than hunt.

loved jones-schneider. That pair should stay.

He’s an NHL head coach. He and his medical staff know exactly how long concussion protocol takes. Nice job not making it personal.

Fun game. 1 bad give away aside we were the better team, glad they pulled it out.

KAM/Jones/Schneider are solid cost controlled dmen. Gonna be SUPER important for this team. Hope they are all off the menu.

Maybe Stromes worst game in a long while. Apparently he hasn't heard the rumors, but games like that are bringing his price tag down.

100%.

I thought he played well. Hope he continues.
He may never be a physical player. I know it frustrating because of his size. We all might just have to accept that and if one day he becomes so angry and losses his Sh/+ and realizes “Hey this is fun.” all the better.

You can do a quick test for concussion, unsure if the NHL uses it though.
Basically you complete the test when not concussed which gives your base line, then you take the test after a head knock and if you're off baseline they'll call it a concussion.

I don't have a problem with the idea of the concussion rule overall, but like I said it seems weird that they'll pull a player fro a hit to the head but not for a punch to the face
It’s not only a blow to the head, it was him staying down and shaking his head to remove cobwebs after he got up. If he popped back up and skated around, they don’t call him off. They should know though Shesty does that even when it’s his legs, he’s always shaking off something after contact no matter what body part lol

Jack Edwards is Butch Goring level bad.

Butch will at least call out stupid plays, penalties by the Islanders, doesn't hesitate to give credit to the opposing player(s), and I still have yet to see him cackle like an idiot like Edwards did.

The only good thing about Edwards is he'll just flat-out say something isn't a penalty even though it is a penalty without offering some spin to it.

Remember Chico?

"Well, what happened...yes, yes! If we stop it- RIGHT THERE! You see, Doc, he was at an angle to the scoreboard, which the light hit his visor, and he moved his arm up to block the light, and it just so happened that a Maple Leaf skated right into his elbow!

That shouldn't be a misconduct, let alone a penalty."

Can’t believe they didn’t just lock Shesty up for 8 years. I don’t know how anyone could have watched this guy before this year and not seen the unreal talent. Performances like this, amazing

I'm a big Shesty fan and have been since we drafted him. I'm a ride or die. He's always been incredibly talented and has the history to back it up.

That said, goalies are some real voodoo shit, so I don't blame them for going for the bridge deal first.
