It was a huge win tonight, so awesome Cholach scoring the winner in overtime while the Colts hosted 50 Ukrainian refugees and played the Ukrainian national anthem. I was sad to miss the game live, but it was worth it to see the Canadian Jr. Team bring home gold!

he wasnt good but hes the best on the board or one of the best.

i wanna see beaudoin, akey, and all our picks gone tomorrow.
Akey is #2 D/PP1 right now, and will be in the league for two more seasons after this one.
The colts priority imo should be a big skilled RW if there is such a thing available, or Wright if Sale is going to show. The colts have some good players in the bottom six, but cannot seem to put together a very good 3rd line because they are either young and raw or too small.
Jodoin is the one 2004-06 forward I’d keep around. I doubt the value he would return is worth anywhere near the offence he would provide as an OA.

Whats your proposal?

should get the offiical word on sale today, are we talking 1 for 1 akey for minty if sale doesnt end up coming
If I'm Barrie's GM, I don't move Akey. He's already a solid top pair defenseman. If they want to move him in order to get Mintyukov, 1 for 1 would be just fine by me. We'd have to move picks to get someone of Akey's caliber next year anyway so no need to ask for picks in the deal.

You guys have enough picks to keep Akey. Just offer up 4 2nds, 2 3rds, and a 4th. And you'd still have enough to offer up Beaudoin and picks to someone else for another high end player.
since ur being so cooperative i'll let you pick what deal you want to take

Honestly as long as he goes to Ottawa or Barrie, I'm good because I know the return will be good. I don't want him going to the Petes. There's no way to make that deal work well on our end without it being a two parter.

I agree that the Petes aren’t the best trading partner but they have both Lardis and JVV. Plus they have a couple 2nds and 3rds.

I think the Petes could poke their nose into that conversation. Keep in mind they do have two Imports so they’d have to figure that situation out.
