Time to put this puppy to bedI feel very sad for Derbidge as he was local to our area. He is a good player that deserved a chance to play.
The rumor is that several teams offered fair value in a trade, but Papineau was very unreasonable with his asking price. Papineau's reputation does not bode well for attracting players to come to Sudbury. This is just my opinion.

Not sure if this means a whole lot but Sale just followed Brandt Clarke on instagram. He already follows the Barrie Colts as well. Gotta think it means something with the way social media is nowadays

So basically it looks like Sale staying the the Czech for the rest of the season and the Colts only deadline acquisition to date is Savard. Who else is out there and available? Even with Clarke coming back we will need an upgrade on D and forward to compete against Ottawa and Peterborough.
Right now Ottawa has my nod to take the East. Picking up Morrison, the reigning playoff MVP is huge and Dave Cameron has that team rolling.
Colts team looks like it will need some fine tuning next season regardless of what they do so I'd like to see them go for it all in. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

BAR needs to grow some b*** and just trade akey if thats what is holding this up.
I'd rather that than Beaudoin... go for it this year, trade your picks in addition and have what is already a started rebuild next year with beaudoin, lowe, etc. and build for a strong team around 06's and 07's.
