I'm predicting we get Jon Gray. Pablo Lopez would be sick though. Fangraphs had him in their top 50 most valuable contracts in baseball. I say be aggressive since we likely have 1 if not 2 supplemental picks next draft for Ray and Semien.

Those guys are all having huge seasons statistically. I'm not sure on the actual prospect status/grades, but Hauver was a 3rd round pick in 2020, and Smith was a 2nd round pick in 2019. Glenn Otto is 25 but he has 115 strikeouts vs. 17 walks in 75.2 innings this season.
1) I said that.

2) At least 3 of those guys are 22-23 year olds in A-ball.

3) Otto has a 4.34era and 1.65 whip in AAA as a 25 year old. He's a reliever or swing starter.

4) Smith and Peirriera are the two in the group I've liked in the past.

I like Ezequiel Duran a lot but I never would have thought he would (arguably) headline a trade for Gallo. Oh well, quantity over quality seems to be the way some teams are going in recent years given teams are generally not trading their highest ranked prospects.

Jesus Tinoco contract has been selected by the Rockies.

6 years ago to the day, Tinoco was traded with Jeff Hoffman and Miguel Castro from the Jays to the Rockies for Troy Tulowitzki.

I’m having trouble figuring out what the huge add was for the yankees

Our playoff chances dont currently look great (Fangraphs has us at 23.8%) but this next 34 or so games is definitely a stretch were we can go on a massive heater. Add one good SP and one good RP and going something like 24-10, 23-11, 22-12, 21-13 isnt totally out of the question especially with 22 of the 34 at home.

Nice deal. I like Adams, but he's a depth prospect and he's 5th on the catcher depth chart with virtually no path to regular playing time with the Jays the next few years. Makes a lot of sense.

That’s a price I’m happy to pay. Give me a few more of those

Yep... guys who don't really have a place on the team in exchange for guys who can help now.

I still kind of want to see them make an addition for an impact player with control. But don't worry, I'm definitely not thinking about the possibility of a huge Jose Ramirez trade now that Cleveland has clearly signaled that they're giving up on the season with the Cesar Hernandez trade.

has been rocked a bit recently but it's a good get with expectations on Riley Adams fading fast.

He was one of the better closers the past 3 seasons. Struggling a bit this season, but maybe coming back to AL where he seemed more comfortable and knows the hitters hes facing will help him turn it around.

We were interested in off season.
