If it's to help build a team friendship to see photos of family to get to know one and another more because your on a team, I don't think it is.

Lamo how many photos do you think these players actually have of family on there phone? Like realistically most 18-24 years old have like 5 family photos. The family photo thing is just a stupid excuse.

Babcock said they were able to choose 100%

oh yeah, i'm sure. just like he would choose to not dress them or give them ice time. or that he would choose to make an ass of the player in front of the team.

just because they had a choice doesn't mean they had a choice. that's what is problematic. babcock is a power hungry person and wants to control everyone.

there's a reason the NHLPA is all over this.

What kind of filth do you keep on your phone? Low chararcter - would not have you play 3rd line left wing on my team.

none, actually. but I know people aren't usually cognizant of the prying eyes of the world.

also can assure you I'd probably not even be good enough for 3rd line left wing on any team XD

I can't believe anyone is defending this dude. I swear, a person could kick a sleeping puppy and someone here would say "but you didn't see what the puppy did before he kicked it."

Give me a break. The dude clearly thought his players have no right to privacy and invaded that privacy. End of story.

No team fires a coach before the first game unless there's a reason for it. There clearly was here.

Babcock isn't interested in building friendship (that's hilarious to even suggest). He thinks he gets full control over these dudes' lives and acts like it.
He wasn’t fired

Babcock said they were able to choose 100%

He mentioned how he did this in Detroit and Toronto as well, didn't seem to be a problem then...

Right and Jenner made a statement saying nothing was wrong yet Babcock resigned. I am sure they are both telling the truth 100%.

Babcock "Let me scroll through your phone to see the photos"
Player "No, I would rather you didn't"
Babcock "That is fine you can choose not to let me see and I can choose not to let you play"

I am sure to Babcock that is what giving them a choice means.

Do you think this somehow makes Babcock a better person? Drug dealers have lots of money too. No matter how much money Babcock has, his legacy on this Earth will forever be that of a total asshole.
Better person? lmao

I hear there's a private island in Muskoka that can be purchased with "good boy" points. "Just be a better person, bro."

I see a lot of posters claiming this is like your boss at work, but I don't think with your McDonald's boss, you travel on the bus or plane to work everyday with them, or you spend the night together in the hotel with your boss, or you sit down after work and go over video of what you did or didn't do right for a couple hours. I'm pretty sure you clock out and stay away from your boss as much as possible, but will try and compare them as the same.

That's the podcast.

Here's the quotes:

Similar to Handsome Lane Lambert scratching Josh Bailey early last season so he couldn't get his 1000th game milestone in front of his home fans and had to get it on the road.

I'm neither a Bailey lover nor a hater but out of respect for his service to the team and the community, it was a needless dirty and classless move

It's pretty obvious that he had to resign now, it's been blown way out of proportion, that it would just create issues for the media all year, he had to now.

What a dumb argument. I see my boss all the time out work and outside. We chat and get to know each other personally by asking respectful questions like normal people. And at no point have they ask for personal access to look at any of my devices. That is because it is inappropriate and a violation of privacy.

Yeah, because society is improving and people are more comfortable bringing up inappropriate behavior from supervisors.

Putting up with workplace abuse doesn't make you tough. It takes way more courage to speak up and tell someone.

In this case, I guess someone told Spittin Chiclets of all people. But good thing they did.

Never used to be when people carried photos in their wallets of their family, before phones with cameras.

Jenner and Gaudreau did what good veterans and leaders do and closed ranks to defend the organization They were just saying what was expected of them and I can't see there being and fallout from it.

They were put in a really shitty, no-win situation.

Sure I am not arguing that. They went into damage control like you would expect. Doesnt mean they were 100% truthful thats all.
