He's not a member of the podcast.What ?
I wasn't sure if it was a podcast, or like a series on YouTube. Maybe it's both.
Anyways, wasn't Commie with them ?

That's the podcast:
Here's the direct quotes:
Mike Modano talks about Babcock benching him: ‘It was a bitter pill’
It turns out, Mike Babcock’s mental games were enough to crush the 40-year-old Modano near the end of the 2010-11 season.www.clickondetroit.com
Seems like someone has come to their senses.
I have heard good things:
That's exactly my point. He never says anything about Babcock intentionally waiting to the last minute. He mentions players finding out when they got to the game.
Modano's account there is in line with other time he has talked about it.
Because you said sources have made the claim Babs literally took peoples phones from them, and I showed you the original didn’t even claim that, and even the sources today aren't claiming that, but you insist they are.... It's not about being caught up on that, it's about finding what sources you claim are saying what you're claiming.Jenner was put in an incredibly uncomfortable position with both his coach and his management (and maybe some of his teammates if they thought it was nothing.) if it was even true, and it’s been said a bunch that not every player felt exactly the same or had all the same experiences.
Also this defense was early and he might not have know what went with other players
Maybe the name was wrong in a game of telephone, maybe it happened and he didn’t care enough to have his famous coach fired/felt pressure or who knows. They said his phone was played on airplay, but he’s him and other players had issues, so regardless what happened with Jenner idk why you’re so caught up on that.
It’s been reported by multiple respected journalist/insiders
Was he ever, or just a guest quite often? He's not a member of the podcast.
I've re-signed myself to the fact that the word will be used incorrectly more often than not on these forums.I will say...
After countless examples of reading the words "resign" and "resigning" on these forums, this is very possibly the first correct usage of the term i've ever seen.
Not a regular listener, I'd guess he's been a guest from time to time, but they bring on a lot of players and retired players. The Boston guys quite regularly. Was he ever, or just a guest quite often?
It's a bit like literally and hone in. At a certain point, you just let it go.I've re-signed myself to the fact that the word will be used incorrectly more often than not on these forums.
Who's Pascal Vincent?
Decent up and comerWho's Pascal Vincent?
Best of luck to him with the BJs, the league needs new blood.Decent up and comer
But that's all an assumption.Yeah, the point I was making with Holland and the players didn't learn about it until they got to the game.
Holland says to this day he would have stepped in had he known in advance.
Babcock didn't allow anyone to intervene by not disclosing his intentions - whether intentionally or coincidentally. Knowing his history, it seems to be rather intentional.
Nah. I'll always treat allegations as exactly that until proven to be fact, no matter who is accused or what the allegations are. This situation not withstanding, social media mobbing is, in fact, not a form of justice I ever want to see become the norm. I appreciate the investigation that went into this to ensure a rational and reality based conclusion was reached.Perhaps a teachable moment about not rushing to defend a career villain from allegations.
I think that Mike Badcock will be just fine, he accomplished everything there is in the world of hockey. Stanley cup, Olympic gold medal, millions of $$$$$ in the bank account, I think that Mike will survive. Young players nowadays are like very fragile little flowers. Lol It's a good thing they're living in 2023 and not 1973 because they wouldn't last one second back in the day they would shrink away lol
But that's all an assumption.
Holland can say that and maybe he would have, but he also backed Babcock when players came to him complaining about Babcock's methods. And wanted to extend him as coach of the Wings for 5 more years when Babcock left for Toronto.
And again, I'm guessing Babcock at some point learned it would prevent Modano from getting to 1500 games and didn't care. It's not like I'm saying he wasn't coldhearted about it. But he didn't do it on game 1,499 and we have no evidence he did it at the last second specifically to keep it secret from people so no one could stop it. As a guy who was only on the Wings for a season and missed half of it due to injury, I'm guessing Babcock didn't think about Modano much at all.
There's enough bad things we know Babcock has actually done. People don't need to make things up.
I'm not questioning that Holland told him that. You're making assumptions here also. Modano has said Holland told him he would have stepped in - so that's a fact.
I don't Babcock the benefit of the doubt here when he did the exact same thing to Spezza later. You're free to keep giving Babcock the benefit of the doubt.
However, when Spezza said he wasn't aware he was getting scratched, and then Babcock knew he was buying tickets for his family... it's really hard to give Babcock the benefit of the doubt here.
