Pump the brakes boys, this org will make him play on smaller ice somewhere else first before giving him NHL time.
I’ve called him out as being our best prospect the moment he was drafted. Just knew. This dude is special.
Just scored very late in the 3rd to give his team the lead. 2 assists and a goal today - 5 and 8 in 13 games.
Starting to think he might skip GR..
Sorry, guys clearly our best prospect. He was last year too. For someone his age his production as a defenseman is unprecedented, and his defensive play just keeps getting better. I don’t see anyway he doesn’t flourish as our 2nd pair RD and QB of our powerplay. Shit you could maybe even play him in the ovechkin spot and have seider and him both on the powerplay lmao.
It wasn’t a PP.Since there are currently 4 threads going nuts about his 3 point game, can I point out/ask what the hell that was to earn a secondary assist on the MBN goal?
Not so sure a weak backhanded 50 ft pass directly to a guy on the other team is really indicative of his skill/IQ/chemistry with MBN. That pass is easily intercepted and kills the PP 99/100 times
My mistake. Still a bad decision that got lucky on that particular playIt wasn’t a PP.
Down by 2 in the 3rd, trying to make something happen. 3 points as part of a massive comeback against a top contender, I’d say his ”bad decision” was a good gamble. My mistake. Still a bad decision that got lucky on that particular play
And you telling me, he still needs develop in AHL?

ASP has the magic. He is going to be special.Okay.
Game is tied 4-4.
2 minutes left.
What does Bobby Orr do on a power-play?
Of course a 200-feet goal.
Pudas is an absolute gamerLove that Jonathan Pudas reaction on the bench. Guy is their 1st PP quarterback but celebrating like mad, when the kid does does the thing.
That really makes me feel, tha Skellefteå has a great team spirit and is a great place to develop our kids (like MBN too).
He will be even better in NA. His fast thinking and hockey IQ will helpBut can he play effectively on the smaller ice!?
God I hope so.

You can do Ed and ASP and I would give Wallinder a shot, instead paying 4-5 mio. longterm for a defensive D.I complain alot about the state of the defense, but with a core of Seider, ASP and Ed we'll probably see the defense go from a weakness to strength.
I hope we sign Ryan Lindgren to pair up with ASP, i see that as an ideal partner for our own version of Adam Fox.
Chiarot can finally be banished to the 3rd pair for his final years here.
