The first three players to get their day with the Cup are:
- a player they didn't qualified
- two guys are are seen by many as trade options to make cap space for a 2C

For some reason, this video hit me hard. I grew up in Quebec City, would go to many Nordiques games. I even remember Sakic wearing #88. I moved to Southern California in 1990, and the Nordiques moved to Denver 5 years later.
Can't believe it's been 21 years of waiting and waiting, and pain, and heartache (how many game 7 OT's have we lost? Ugh), and hope. Maybe it was the music in the video, but this is the video that hit me inside, and made we want to cry and smile at the same time.

Seeing EJ raise the cup after all the bullshit hes had to endure during his time here made me the happiest. I loved seeing Mackinnon, Landy, Rantanen, Bo and Makar raise it but to see EJ hold it hit different.
Our black pants and helmets were hideous. Worst combo in the NHL.
