He hasn't had a point in almost a month while not doing much away from the puck. He's been taken off the top powerplay and I honestly can't remember if he's even on the 2nd unit.

If Newhook shows to be ready and can step into the 2nd line C for the Avs next year, I'd say trade Kadri. He's on a good contract for another year and will have good value.

Maybe they'll want him in some film sessions before throwing him out there but practice may not be an option. I don't believe they do many full on practices unless something changed recently. The last time I remember Bednar talking about it I'm pretty sure he said they hadn't practiced in like a month.
