Scoring chances dead even at 20-20, high danger chances actually ended up being 9-5 Avs.

The Kraken did not dominate this game at all. It feels like that because they caused turnovers, stopped MacKinnon all night and threw everything at the net from every possible angle but this was a good win by the Avs.

I feel like any “dominance” the Kraken showed was self inflicted, we were very sloppy and disjointed tonight and not because of our opponents.

Their offensive strategy is insanely vanilla. It's why they weren't a threat tonight at all.

The TOI amongst the forwards is nice to see, only Nuke played over 20 mins, Nate and Mikko both under 19 mins and pretty evenly spread for the rest. Once everyone gets acclimated the hope is we can just keep fairly evenly rolling out the lines.

Also, Toews has been rock solid to start the year, lead the team with 24 minutes, so reliable.
