Tatar stealing Drouin's spot, as some predicted but I had hope wouldn't happen. Loved his game tonight, you can tell he's very coachable. Very much playing the game that Bednar loves, tenacious, hard on the puck, smart. Olofsson is a good find, definitely NHL regular. Cogliano has lost a step, he should not play every game (need more rest), get Tufte in here. RyJo has a few seconds where he looks like a beast. Mack sucked tonight, Makar and Toews were only just solid. Rantanen has a horrible game and scores a huge goal, predictable. Georgiev is so much better than Kuemper and Grubes. He might be Varly level.

Sure it wasn’t pretty but pk still remained strong and once again a solid effort in the third to close it out. They’ve show a lot of composure and growth in that area over last season and to start this year. They can close a game out damn well.

Scoring chances dead even at 20-20, high danger chances actually ended up being 9-5 Avs.
The Kraken did not dominate this game at all. It feels like that because they caused turnovers, stopped MacKinnon all night and threw everything at the net from every possible angle but this was a good win by the Avs.
