That and his size for me (like he can control that), but he did a phenomenal job of making himself look big in net tonight. Super encouraging

Both goalies were great

Both were great but our finishing was a bit off. Felt like Rangers gave us tons of high scoring chances but sadly we couldn't convert more than two. Damn. I thought Colorado played very well. Teams form is improving already.

And yes both goaltenders were amazing.

Thanks guys. Well, I hope E-Rod feels that absolute value he's added. Not long in, a couple of goals, then get's the winner in the shootout. Know what that's called? Making a difference !

I thought he was decent today. He will improve. I think he will end up putting 40+ points.

Georgiev looks awesome. Not sure I saw Kuemper put up anything close to that impressive all of last year.

The biggest difference is also I expect Georgiev to make a save instead of Kuemper letting a goal in.

Looks like a great trade so far.

I still fully expect Kakko to end up on the Avs at some point

Get this kid some skating lessons, confidence and he will do better.

The rhetoric around Georgiev is a little nuts, other than that it's an overreaction to a loss to the defending champs. They're firing the coach and calling all the young guys busts. Classic HF stuff in there.

Shot totals are deceiving. Avs easily had the best scoring chances of the night but Igor did Igor things.

Good game overall. Fun to watch too.

Exactly. I thought Rangers gave us way too good chances from the slot. Should have finished better. We defended better than Rangers.

The Rangers are a good team, that get propped up as an excellent team at times due to Shesterkin's elite goaltending. Also they employ Ryan Reaves so f' em.

Rangers fans are salty because Georgiev celebrated the win against his old team with a fist pump. Imagine being happy.

That's stupid. This was massive win for him mentally. Imagine failing with one team(to become a starter) and then coming back to win. That's a great feeling and obviously it means a lot to him.

This was the type of game where George can become a favorite player to watch.

He wanted that badly. He was fun to watch. Awesome.

In one game Georgiev becomes the fan favourite of Colorado and the most hated player for the Ranger fans.

Who knows, he’s a good friend with Mikko, the Avs seemed to really like he prior to the draft. Wouldn’t be surprised if they swung a deal when he’s an RFA
