Television was sucseesful in 1927. It was firs demonstrated in San Francisco on September 7, 1927. Though a patent for a colour television was accepted in 1904 in Germany and one by Vladimir Zworykin was patanted in 1925. There was not a successful transmission in black and white until 1927.

While also completely ignoring Ovechkin playing twice as much on the powerplay

For anyone who’s curious a poster already did a breakdown of the Ovi and Matthews comparison and Ovechkin did infact experience a higher personal goal scoring environment based on ice time and deployment at ES/PP, so if anything any real adjustment favours Matthews here

That was freaking incredible. It's undeniable the legacy that is being cemented and at such a young age still. Undeniable. One of the all-time greats - period. Could end up a top 10-15 (a cup or 2 would help).
