There’s a good and bad to it. You want the call to be right, but when the play is so inconsequential it really is irritating to watch it come back after a good bit of play

I'm going to talk about it, how can I not talk about it? The kid had four apples, which are called apples I believe because the word 'assist' and 'apple' both begin with the letter A. Of course that may simply be hockey mythology, and the root of the metaphor could be something else entirely, either more esoteric or perhaps based upon the folklore of our forefathers, and their fathers before them. Or, it could be that back in those days players were rewarded with an actual apple for assisting on their brethren 'potting the disc' into the 'basket.' Perhaps the goalscorer received an actual basket in reward for the potting, which if not true, could certainly be argued as true for there exists no records to base any counter arguments against. Maybe though I'm now talking about this too much, my penchant for being blabby was a common crime my own father oft chastised me for. When he told me to shut my mouth, I shut my mouth. One time I prit near starved to death, didn't even tell him I was hungry. An apple would have been nice.
