BTW, the NHL FB page shared this. Can Russian speakers confirm that this song is actually something that would get censored if the NHL page knew Russian? I'm pretty sure it has naughty words in it.

Bobrovsky, Panarin have high-kicking dance party on a boat in Italy

There is absolutely nothing offensive in this video, no any connection with NHL, hockey, USA, teams or whatever. The song text contains one obscene (cock) word, still really nothing to be censored, or you should close half the youtube videos :)))))))

Isn’t the true transliteration of Artem really “Artyom”? I don’t believe that’s the same with Artemi. Also Artemi seems to be a less common name .
It is the same name. Just two forms of the same name. Like Bill and William. Artemi seems to prefer the less common form. That's it.

As you put it correctly Artyom is the proper transliteration. Artemi is pronounced differently - ArtEmy if you try to transliterate it for an English speaker.

That was the word. I asked to confirm since I wasn't sure if I heard it right. I also didn't mean that youtube should censor it. I thought that the NHL page would. But then again that's a pretty dumb thought because how would they do that since it's youtube property? The larger point was that the NHL FB page would probably steer clear of posting videos where cock was mentioned in English but because it was in another language they didn't. I'm not some prude or anything. I just thought it was funny.

He seems so proud to be a Ranger, wearing Rangers clothing everywhere :)
I guess since he grew up in poverty and now he’s playing in the most famous city in the world he’s a really happy and thankful person. Take a step back and think about what I just said. I think this won’t be the typical NYR busy free agency signing. Sure it’s about the money, but for him and his background, he’s not gonna collect paychecks and dog it out there. I agree he’s proud.

Even I have to admit that his story (if true) felt a bit compelling. Still not sure if I like the signing cause he's not in the same age bracket as the two most promising guys in the team and thanks to him the tank bled out, but I have nothing but respect for the guy. To come around from such conditions and land on the top of the world, that's quite amazing and really takes one bad arse of a man (if not for a boy in this case), who's not giving up no matter the circumstance. With Panarin on board at least it should be interesting season to look forward to, instead of just checking how the youngsters where doing.

Maybe his determination and resiliency will rub off on the young crop. Seems like a good attitude to have in the mix; the lessons one learns from such circumstances don’t require translators.
