I wonder how long it takes Yzerman to make changes. Pierre McGuire was talking about the level of quit in this group.

Not a bad result for Ottawa. Assuming their complaints are things like weather, lack of nightlife on road trips, or distance from hotel to arena or something like that. Nothing really against the city itself (a government town isn't going to be a nightlife town by definition, so no insults there, and we can't control the weather).

That's pretty good for Ottawa.

Not surprising for Winnipeg though, have you seen that city?!

At least Ottawa is a nice city and there's a decent amount of higher scale restaurants, the canal, and beautiful infratructure with the parliament buildings. Likely most of it has to do with the arena being in the middle of nowhere and having to ride from the hotel there and back ... And not to mention the airport that's pretty far. The cold is obviously a factor as well when you consider California cities always fare well in this department.

Ottawa is mostly a nice city if you wanna establish yourself and have a family. It's peaceful, decent opportunity and quality education is offered .. but for players visiting who wanna go out and have a good time it's definitely not like Montreal.

To put things in perspective that means 2 players out of 50 dislike going to Ottawa the most out of all other NHL cities. Not that bad IMO, obviously not great either.

If you're a player coming to Ottawa, you're probably staying at the brookstreet, so half an hour ride from the airport and doing anything downtown requires a half hour cab/uber ride. I imagine if we had a more central location, we'd drop off that list entirely.

Kane is great, Toews and Debrincat are really good but the others are just familiar names at this point.
